forum conversations seems slowed. everybody shopping? :)

needing a PSON,, want to use my wm TY2 in ds.

Had to catch up on some sleep. Is weird how Tuesday and Wednesday were running out of time frantic and now Friday seems to be crawling by, hardly moving at all

ready with blankets to tuck in for zzzzzzzs :)

Slept on a bean bag in an edit booth two nights this week, sun is unbending stiff joints right now :)

bean bags and lava lamps, iz groovy -
...when you are young and agile. Don't think I could get up out of a beanbag chair anymore.

Lava lamps though, yeah, still cool.

Saw that forecast. ugh. All of you back easst need a huge break in the weather. It's almost March and still lows near the single digits with subzero windchill. It's just wrong.

In Stevens Point WI where I first attended college it is already -10° heading for a low of -16° (without windchill) with you guessed it, more snow on the way and following that, yet more below zero temperatures. Milwaukee isn't going to fare much better. -3° tonight snow and single digit lows afterwards.

Seems March is in the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, and Northeast is coming in more like a Yeti instead of a Lion with the latest storm to dump more snow in Kansas, Missouri, the Great Lakes all eh way to NYC and Boston with ice and sleet in the Ohio Valley.

In Texas it will be sever thunderstorms which will override the colder air to the north spawning hail and all other sorts of unpleasantness.

Meanwhile, going to get a brief dose of spring here tomorrow. with partly sunny conditions and a high of 60°, then back to the usual rain & 40s for the weekend.

is it possible to get frost burnt standing in 10 degree wind? my face is red and blotchy, lovely in time for a night out. sun burn doesn't look this ugly.

...Yes it is. Skin exposed to such a frigid wind is very vulnerable (one of the reasons the wind chill scale was established).

I found the stuff I use for wind chaps it is called Oil of Ulan, pink goo in a big white bottle. Um seems to be called different things depending on where you are

I thank you everyone who commented. Except for the Door render in my own thread I did get more feedback here than in any other thread. Yes I'm a needy person but then I'm one of those insecure types. Also I just play at what I do, I'm not out for perfect, its just nice to get a looks good every once in awhile. Oddly my Jade stuff does very well, other stuff not so much.

I've had a question for a long time, but was uncomfortable asking...

    How is your name pronounced?
    Is it pronounced Jaid-err-ale?
    Or is it pronounced Jaid-rail?

Just curious, and I hate not knowing how to pronounce something.

Count this as one more positive comment about your work. :)
I can't always think of something to say about good work. "Good job!" starts to sound hollow with repetition, even though I always mean it. :)
and tjohn I utterly love your renders, I just do not comment a lot on peoples renders

    negative 7?

    negative 7?!!

Brrr. Brrr. Here it is currently 21 but feels like 9. There was a little snow shower that moved through...while Diane was driving home, of course. She's is here safe, though. And it seems to have let up. It didn't amount to much, just dusted the street a little.

With low wind chills, the skin can get frostbite quite quickly, yes. Be careful! You should have all skin covered if possible when spending time out in the wind. Get a scarf!

That's funny! Is that Darwin, from Content Paradise? Looks like him. Looks much better than the promo pics over there. I picked him up back in September on sale. I already had something for him that was free, so I had him in my wishlist for a while. Nice to see how good he can look rendered. CP doesn't do well with promo pics, do they? Thanks for the peek!

Same here, and it was really strange because the snow was coming down lightly while the sun was out. Now I've seen it sunny and raining at the same time, but this is the first time I've seen it sunny and snowing at the same time. Very weird.
