...Godiva chocolate cookies? Chocolate is solace.

Ach, overslept, wanted to be up earlier. Stress is not a good thing.

Bank balance alert email this morning, account almost 500$ shy of the rent due by Thursday. No line of credit to fall back on (never earned enough to establish one). Would rather owe the bank and pay their late fees than lose my flat. Crikey, they have far more money than my landlady does. Could probably cover a couple months rent, and several books of transit tickets to stash away before they cancel my account which may be enough time to get something going. Then declare bankruptcy as my credit score is most likely in the waste bin already. At my age wouldn't really matter that it's on my record as buying a home or even a car (since I don't drive anyway) is pretty much moot at this point.

Bugger even Daz has let me down. At least I could always count on a freebie each Tuesday to brighten my day. What good is a 50% discount on Jack's store when I can't afford to purchase even a 1.99$ PC item.

gahhh pollen is out to get me. went for a nice walk, but the monster got me. pollen is so outtacontrol, waiting for a tentacle monster to grow out of it.

    hmm
maybe tentacle monsters are just misunderstood, maybe they bring candy and flowers for their cheri du noir?

I thought everyone knew Vincent Price! The Fly (help me), and the narrator for MJ's Thriller! And many others.

...I'm glad they didn't. Back when it first was introduced by Ted Turner, colorisation was so bad it almost made the film unwatchable. besides, I like the more stark contrast of black & white for films that were filmed in the day as they had pt play on light and shadow. I once saw a colourised version of It's a Wonderful Life and it was so bad I turned the colour off (as well as wanting to strangle Mr. Turner for spoiling one of my favourite films).

There 's a reason directors like Stanley Kubrick (Dr. Strangelove), Woody Allen (Manhattan), and Martin Scorsese (Raging Bull) used B&W instead of colour even though was available at the time (and not for "budgetary" reasons either). Some of my best photographs were taken in B & W.

The Pit and the Pendulum, circa 1961. He was an aristocratic looking handsome man who played some of the worst villains of his time.

Zulu stands for Z, nautical time zone (GMT). Some people in shortwave radio industry say Coordinated Universal Time (French: Temps Universel Coordonné - UTC) in addition to Zulu and GMT. Yeah, I'm confused too.
