Hi AtticAnne, I haven't seen you in a while. I guess you were busy during the past few weeks. Thanks for popping in.

tjohn, I like the fairy. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks, starionwolf. I've been in and out. Real life is one huge mess right now. I had lunch at WoolyLoach's favorite breakfast taco place yesterday, but didn't see him around. I try to at least skim through my forums every day, even though I don't post I'm keeping an eye on all of you.

...yeah RL been doing a big number trying to stomp me into the ground. The UI extension looks to be pretty much dead in the water, and the job search is going nowhere. As I mentioned on my other thread, received a preliminary eviction notice on Thursday for which the proceedings will go into effect if I am unable to come up with the back due rent by the 22nd.

If that miracle turnaround is to happen, it better do so quick.

In the meantime trying to hang on as best I can to whatever shred of hope is left.

Feel about as helpless as can be right now, you there and me about as far away as it gets *sorry*

I still have four boxes of them, plus a shelf of boxed sets.

Thank you, ps1borg and jaderail, for the offers. Right now Austin has lots of sun, but a little more never hurts.

kk, I know how you feel. I just took in 2 relatives who had lost their jobs and apartment. Seems like some employers don't like it when an employee has to spend 32 days in the hospital. My mortgage company wants $20000+ by next month.

Vinyls: Only 4 boxes, Richard? I have 4 or 5 stereo systems that work and approximately 6 shelves of LPs, boxes of 45s, and miscellaneous boxes of LPs. And I inherited my father's collection of 8-track players and tapes.

Well, I had only a cassette player until after university and I bought my first CD player less than a year after buying the system with the LP player, so there was a brief flurry of buying only LPs and then a few years of buying a mix of CDs and LPs. I fear I have nearly a thousand CDs.

...unfortunately high schools and colleges will be letting out as well so competition will get even stiffer than it already is. Most of those jobs will be in services like fast food, amusement/theme parks, mall stores, concessions etc., where the employers want fresh young faces up front, not some doddering old relic like myself.

One of the other major summer job areas will be construction labour (which is booming again) which I am no longer able bodied enough to do.

...I almost wish I did own my place for our state employment division has a programme to assist unemployed homeowners to keep them from from losing their homes. If you are a renter like myself, you are out of luck.

In "at will" states there is little protection for employees who are laid up for an extended period of time. We had several female employees at company I used to work for not get rehired after they took maternity leave. In an "at will" situation, an employer can basically give any type of reason they choose to terminate an employee without warning. I've seen people who were selected as "employee of the month" and praised up and down by the owner for the "great work" they were doing, being escorted off the premises like a criminal a month or so later never to return. The only mention would be an email saying "so & so is no longer with the company" with no reason given.

    Very easily abused.

Paul McCartney produced her first album and wrote her hit, "Goodbye".
Also I remembered she came from Wales. :)

Can the regular DS 4.6 and the Beta version be used at the same time on the same computer?

Would rendering Genesis Tiger Guy with no clothes be considered nudity? Either RawArt or Muscleman's.
