There's some really nice characters for this dragon - this is mostly RawArt's Snow Dragon, but I can't help tinkering so I added an ambient map and a membrane shader I've been trying to make work.
Are there any plans from anyone out there with plans to do a non scaled texture set for Dragon 3? Something more like elephant skin done in the chromatics (Gold, SIlver, Copper, Bronze, etc.) and regular colors (Brown, Blue, Red, Green, etc.)? Would love to get a set like that as the Dragons in my own story do not have scales and I don't know enough about creating my own textures to do it myself.

These textures are based on a leathery/elephant like skin instead of scales or lizard skin http://www.daz3d.com/draconis-borealis-maximus-the-great-northern-dragons
The diffuse texture maps might be more stylized than your looking for but the skin underneath is very much what I think you are looking for.
Give me a few minutes and I'll render something for you :)

Here's a render of the Iron Dragon with a colored diffuse channel instead of the normal diffuse maps.
Second pic is of the Fire Dragon using UberSurface 2's second layer to modify how the diffuse maps look
Found a couple of dragons on G+ that I'd love to see done...
First is outrageously awesome an the other I thought that Cho would love!
In regard to the second image... Uhhhmmm, hmmm... I can see I'm not quite alone in the idea I'm working on. ;-) This is going to take some time to do, but its going to be fun. In a sense it will combine elements of the first image with the second for a feathered dragon.
Thanks for sharing the images... Also enjoying everyone's renders.

Oooh yes, you know me too well, that one is awesome.
BTW Alex, not all of my dragon models are girly, in fact I think I only have one which is really "girly" of the ones I bought ready made, an amethyst dragon, although I admit one of my kit dragons which I painted is done in lovely irridescent peach and orange colours.
I do have one quite unusual dragon which is made of coal

DA Fire Drake, Jepe's FlameZ III DF, Castle Creator with a layered custom shader for the stone work, Wildenlander HD G2M, Dragon Ballistae, Skyreach Pro Sky...
In between playing :) I started working today on DA Glowing Eyes DD3 Edition which will work with most skins.
I can finally add to the dragon art.
The textures on the dragon are my "yet to be released" komododreki textures, with just the HD morphs applied (not the LD shaping morphs)..yes, that can be done ;)
While the base model isn't quite as detailed as I'd like (which is wonderfully compensated for by the morphing diversity potential it has), the hard work of Raw Art and others is awe-inspiring, texture-wise. Very impressed, so far.
Raw, will the 'Wither' have morphs to give even more emphasis to its skeletal nature? Are morphs available to make it seem as though it has eyeless sockets in the skull? I'm wondering just how viciously evil an undead (or even vampiric) version of Dragon 3 could potentially be...
Wondering if an HR Giger-themed biomechanoid-style Dragon 3 would be possible, too. Would imagine it would involve a ton of work if it's more than just texturing, but it could be a stunning result if done right (and look amazing if posed with the Mestophales Mech Dragon set).
More inspiring art from Sandra... http://sandara.deviantart.com/gallery/ This gals got it going on! I also love her Plant Spirit using a Wolf as the animal! Very cool! Green Dragon is also just lovely!

I love the renders - they make me want to play. I tried playing on Saturday on my laptop while not at home. I got very frustrated. I loaded the dragon, was confused why none of the other products were showing up in Smart Content. Refreshed my db, and tried again. Still no joy. Went into the content library and found some of the morphs and poses. They would not load onto the dragon. Tried connecting to Daz's wonderful forums via my phone or tablet. They didn't want to cooperate. I gave up for the night. Decided I'd wait until Sunday and check it out on my desktop at home.
Imagine my self annoyance when I pulled up Studio and easily found my problem. I had loaded (multiple times) the wrong dragon. I loaded the correct dragon and easily found and loaded the various enhancements. Lovely! Too tired to actually try and figure out a nice scene, but I was so very happy with knowing that I too can play.
I would like to see these.
Butterflywings and insectoid
Me too.
If only for the less 'well-built' muscular open-mouthed fierce terrifying dragons who definitely have their place but don't lend themselves to much variety in story creation. That third example you posted definitely has a story to go with him though nobody knows what it is.
There's value to both the fierce and the delicate and whimsical.
Let me see... How many different types of wings do we have being requested thus far?
-- Bat Wings (Default Dragon Wings) and variations thereof. There actually is a lot that can be done with the structure of bat wings.
-- Feathered Bird Wings (There is a lot of variation possible here as well. Anything from a Humming Bird to a Hawk configuration for example. I'm kind of running with a fantastical Humming Bird/Bird of Paradise idea at the moment, which affects far more then just the wings.)
-- Feathered Dinosaur Wings (Which could still have very recognizable hands/claws rather then just the vestigial thumbs.)
-- One could also make a Non-feathered Dinosaur Wing like that of a Pterodactyl.
-- Dragonfly Insectoid Wings.
-- Butterfly Insectoid Wings.
I can finally add to the dragon art.

The first one is wildly over the top so I love it. The second is well girly so you may be right about Cho liking it.
Cheers,
Alex.

Can somebody confirm that the hair from this promo is Milen Hair?
Golden Dragon. I used the spiked tail from Mil Dragon2.
Just a little Idea I had while working last night: Hellborn with the Firedrake attachments
InanaGlory,
Thanks. Didn't realize that product could do that. will definitely have to pick it up and play with it and the ubershader2!
One of the preview images rather strongly suggests that their is a way to hide the Dragon's front arms. Can this actually be done?
Has to be.
Not in the Store yet, but RawArt has one on the way.

Awesome Classical Fantasy image!
This has classic Boris appeal!
