I didn't get the email, but I got M6 for a sweet deal not to long ago when I took the plunge so I cannot complain.
Sure getting V6 for free would have made my day, and possibly pushed me more into using the Gen 2 Female figure ;) , I am aware of these target specials and well I did not fit the bill.
But for the time that I have been a customer here (since 07" me thinks) I have been targeted twice in all that time. Once was not so long ago actually, anyways before I forget what I wanted to say, eventually your activity here will get you seen by the Daz gift elves and you'll get a special email.

Good to be assured by a staff member gift cards have nothing to do with the offers. I didn't believe they would. Firstly, it would be a total miss (due to the fact I've already mentioned: a customer with a gift card is a loyal customer) and secondly, it would get suspiciously close to... you know... looking into your library...? DAZ is an honest company, I can't see anybody doing such a thing.
Of course, targeted offers are welcome - especially if they're targeted towards me :coolgrin:.

Don't take me wrong on that I think M6 and V6 are super figures, but I love my gen 4 figures and am so used to working with them. Plus as I use mainly Bryce (and now am learning Carrara slowly) I am not a typical customer, really. I need things that I can transfer to Bryce easily and the ones I am used to I can transfer almost with my eyes shut.
When I saw V6 figure for free announcement, I was pretty excited because I tought I could model some clothes for her. Unfortunately, that offer seemed to be a lie. I've put both products in basket, but nothing was deducted. Currently, V6 is my favourite figure. Wanted such an offer for a long time. Is there a real chance to get it free ?

I am a very early adopter and I am not really bothered that others received this offer - good for them :) The more people using G2F / V6 the merrier. It is good for my figure of choice - namely G2F. The next offer might be for me perhaps?!? :)

...interesting. While I have the base head & body morphs as well as a couple merchant resource morph kits and the V4 Autofit clone, I have none of the Gen6 characters yet only received the 50% off V6 email.
So does having the morphs & such but no actual Gen6 characters not qualify one or the special deal?

A friend of mine got the exact same email but without that free offer. He signed up ages before me, and now he's pissed that he didn't get V6 free like me.

I got a email for 50% and i already have v6..lol when i got v6 she was 45% off in March madness haven't used her all that much though she requires to much baggage
Its to bad Daz don't have a "Loyalty" program of some kind , that would mean a lot in appreciation for those us that spend and spend. and never get any good targeted offers. someone can target me with a free dragon3 ..lol Oh well just a suggestion not a complaint :)

Perhaps it's not just characters, since you have morphs and the V4 for G2F product.
...well the way it sounds, it was based on if one didn't have V6 or any other Gen6 characters.
...and you need at least the Head and Body morphs to make V6 work properly.
Actually just arguing on principle as I have GenX 2 and the Genesis 2 add on (as well as all the legacy character add on updates) which will allow me to load characters from Aiko3 to YT Julie into G2. Heck, I rarely use Vicky much by herself anyway (as I prefer Stephanie for my adult characters).
Hopefully there will be a sale on her as well as Josie and Giselle sometime soon. All I need is are the base character figures to add to the morph pool.
Though it would be nice to have some additional autofit clones as well.

It looks like that, sadly. I have FW Darc, who's totally cool, but I only need the head (which is custom, thus not requiring Gen2M Evolution Morphs) and his skin. I didn't get the offer (I'm that "Genesis and A3 girl").
But a person I know who registered for DS shortly didn't get the offer either. Needless to say, no Gen2F/Gen2M stuff was purchased so far.
Good idea (I mean not exactly giving away DD3 since it is far too new, but checking the frequency of placing orders and deducting offers based off that).

...well I was a fairly loyal customer until I lost my job and then UI benefits at the end of last year. Since then I spent less than 45$ total in the last 6 months and that pretty much was on a few items I had been waiting on and put funds away for since last year (like GenX-2 and the Genesis 2 add on). My total expenditure for MM this year was 0.00$, that is a first.
Other than that, it's been the monthly/weekly freebies and my 6$ PC coupon.
Meanwhile my wishlist has grown faster than the national deficit.
Sorry to hear that, but still, you are a loyal customer. You've been there for years as far as I can tell and from my point of view a customer who spends less, but regularly comes to the shop and leaves something, is much more important than a person who buys V5/M5 Combo Bundle and then vanishes into thin air. That's just maths and pure business logic.
As far as I know, I don't have ANY Genesis 2 content, but have spent plenty of money in the store. Did I not get the offer because I'm clearly spending money without anything being given for free?
