...well, there's a North Pole pub in Islington, and another in Greenwich.

...hmmmm, a motorbike pub crawl? Sounds dodgy.

There is a Carthage, Athens, Memphis, Alexandria, Brighton, Camden, and Dover in Tennessee, to name but few of the cities with more famous predecessors.

There is also a La Grange (a-haw haw haw haw).

I live near both a Ducktown and Turtletown, which sound like neighborhoods in Toontown. :)

The plane was literally designed around the 30mm autocannon which along with it's magazine, takes up almost ½ the length of the aircraft.

It may be slow and clumsy in appearance, but what it lacks in speed and looks it more than makes up for in manoeuvrability, firepower, and survivability.

If Airbus built it, it wouldn't even be half as good.

That is one angry-looking plane. :)

No Pubs included in the places they visited, well not that they admitted to anyway

Mmm today was kinda rough. Well, not exactly rough like some of the other hard days folks have posted about lately... Tiring maybe? Let's go with tiring :)

So last night I thought to get into bed early, since I was kinda out of things to do and was a bit on the sleepy side. My friend was sick that day so we had to drop the game we had planned for that night, so sleep it was! (He lives in Australia so late night for me is like, afternoon for him or something  )
I only got maybe three or four hours of sleep and had woken up just short after midnight, and wasn't able to get back to sleep so I just... Stayed up. Around 2 or so I took my meds since I figured it was going to be another all-nighter, and it was hah. Well, around 8am I started getting pretty sleepy and I thought my psychiatrist appointment was today (I was wrong, but I didn't know that at the time) so I got into bed to get some rest before leaving. Just short of 2pm I drank a couple of cups of green tea to sorta wake myself up, then left for the clinic.

It's 2/3 of a mile to the clinic from my house (might even be a mile) and it was pretty hot today ><
Well once I got there I was told that my appointment was actually a meds checkup, and was yesterday - I had no appointment on this Wednesday! Aaargh. Well I got the dates wrong, and rescheduled the appointment for next week (Which is when my psychiatrist appointment is too.) Then walked all the way back home, once again in the heat. This time there was no uphill to walk, so that's an upside I guess

    Daz Needs Fish.

Urgh.. I'll try to get them into Wings, hopefully I can go from there. Otherwise.. I'm going to have to learn to model.. urgh.. :long:

No problem in converting to .obj in Wings. UV Mapping is preserved so just select the Trout and open the Surfaces pane and load "BrownT.jpg" as the Diffuse map. Sub-D and materials messing about in DS4.6. :)

    That's pretty trouty!!! :cheese:

Ow ow owow - those stupid chairs at the waiting room. My back is sore from sitting in them all day >_<</p>

Work today, got so much to catch up on. Then will try to spend some more time with Dad at the hospital (if we can finally get an answer on visiting hours, we forgot to get that yesterday)

We entered stage 1 water restrictions this week. Woke up about 5 this morning to the dog jumping in bed shivering from the lightning and the rain, which was coming down in buckets. Haven't looked outside to see if it's still raining but I keep hearing thunder growlies.

ETA: We're going to have rain off and on today. yay

Supposed to clear up by Noon.. we'll see. Worst-case, taxi home.

Blug, blug, blug. It's a great day to be an axolotl! :cheese:

I've never seen a capsized Dalek, but they CAN leave their shells and (I forget the episode) one crawled out and strangled someone.

I'm pretty sure early Daleks were like Davros' chair, hover-only. The flying ones, and the Black Daleks in specific, are scary!

EXTERMINATEEEEEE!!! :ahhh: ANNIHILATEEE!! :ahhh: DESTROY!! :ahhh:

    does Blender have rigged figures?

i've only looked at it as a modeling tool. but it's also a path to vray, if willing to buy the standalone vray. :)

Blender has its own armature rigging system.. it's kind of funky but once you learn it, it works.

A couple of companies have dumped money into Blender to improve FBX import/export, if it comes to fruition Blender will more easily find a place in the content creation pipeline.

It still doesn't play very nice w/ DS, but OBJ export is decent if you don't mind rigging in DS or Poser. Whjich I have never done, but will experiment with "DAZ Soon". Because...

Regrettably, the average waiting room chair was designed either by a sadist, or by a masochist who spent far too much time in waiting rooms.

I wonder if the people working at the offices of Daz 3D are used to the heat. Well, they are inside an air conditioned office for about eight hours.

edit: the weekend looks kinda hot to be hanging outside.

I haven't either, Frank. Just vaguely know it's a TV show, maybe UK. I never have been much of a TV watcher, even when sitting in front of one. I'm always either doing something else or jumping up to do something else. Or if I get horizontal I go to sleep.
