True anime figures are still completely unsupported ever since NearMe and Kururu, and that's a long time. Sure, many people have good results with Aiko and Hitomi, but anime style figures (think Shonen Jump) have all but died. The last closest thing was Aiko 3 (which is the basis of most of my anime figures).

I still use and love NearMe, and have a huge library, but it would be really welcome to see a modern version. The more the technology progresses the harder it gets to use NearMe/Kururu in the same renders as contemporary figures.

Every time I bring this up the peanut gallery tries to dissect what "anime" means. I pray this time I made myself clear enough.

You want a niche set of items? Think Primitive wear, as in stoneage culture, not Mazao, not American Indian but Stone Age. I would pay well for another set of primitive wear for males and females in as many styles as possible. Wilmap did one set for me but I could use so much more. Very Niche and few need it I know but those of us that do have very few sets to chose from and even kitbashing only goes so far to fill the need.

Have you seen these? But yeah, the genre is pretty sparse.

Search "Mec4d Neanderthal" on the web.

    Rendo:
    "Savage Dress"
    "Power Barbarian"

RDNA has some, on HiveWire, there is a whole stack of them - for V4, Dawn, some ancient Poser figures...

well they have imitated every other Game of Thrones forms of fashions in the PC, why not the wildlings

While Martin didn't hit the bullseye with me (if I read only one book from a series and can't really tell what happened, it's a bad sign), but I think I recognise this outfit - DarioFish's character, Ygrid, wears something similar. I'm not allowed to link it, as it would require a link to Rendo, but search for her and you will know which one I'm talking about.

Aside from what's already been mentioned, the big hole in my runtime is old and worn stuff.

    1. Clothes and shoes that show that they've been worn and washed, that have anything from just a somewhat faded look to stains, holes, rips, and outright dirty.

    2. Furniture that has actually been used and has some dents and scratches.

And finally, the one I'm looking for most right now:

    3. Cars and trucks that have been dented and scratched. Also cars and trucks that have been completely demolished. Aside from a single set by Stonemason, I haven't been able to find any vehicles that have been destroyed or burned. I'd like a whole range from:

--- messed up but still running (think: Mad Max or Walking Dead style vehicles -- DzFire's got one or two sets like this and that's all I can find.),

--- barely running (imagine any movie that features a car chase with the hero driving a vehicle that's been bashed around and maybe has windows broken, perhaps even a flat tire or two). Could even be demolition derby style vehicles.

--- to completely destroyed (for the post apocalyptic renders)

--- Also, random used auto parts like you'd see at an old mechanic's shop or chop shop.

A junkyard scene would also be very welcome.

Real Japanese Anime / Manga Characters & Clothes pleeeease! Not the westernised versions!
Real faeries, goblins, etc based on Brian Froud drawings pleeease! Not the Disney versions!
And of course for Genesis 1.

+1 with Anime ... and more toons, even western type. The new realistic aproach abandon the toon niche.

A big-Big-BiG eyes character. Size of eyes is already small in comparison with some manga-anime-american styles, even hitomi have small eyes if you compare with winx for example.

...speaking of toons, love to see more items for Genesis Sadie and Sam as well as UV clones so we can transfer character textures form the originals.

Also would be nice to have at least a Genesis Mavka autofit clone so we can use clothing and items form the original

I have the Neanders got those way back when and I aprish the info but both sets are just a bit too not real to be used in my based on the real, as far as we know it, way life was in those days. Of course to go fully Real I would need to just not worry of over the TOS on DAZ 3D but I'm trying to hit a middle ground of it could have been and it really was. I have studied Primitive life and the skills for 40 some odd years of my 50+ years so far. The only reason I have not spent a week in the woods in the last 5 years with just me my clothes and a sheath knife is because my health will not let me do so any more.

As always when this subject is raised: I would like to see authentical clothes (no fantasy or historicising skimpwear) for

    - Ancient Rome and Greece (everyday clothes)
    - pre-Columbian Mesoamerica (Aztec, Maya)

I know this is far too niche, but hope dies last...

Regarding Mesoamerica, OptiTex has a few sets as freebies that, when retextured, could work. But on a general note, while I know it would be rather niche, such clothes would be awesome. Oh, thank you, cecilia, I'll check the Optitex site immediately! :-)

Thanks for the Info on RDNA but I'll take your word on the other, I do not Dawn nor Poser figure so only the V4 things would help but I also do not Hive, its just a personal thing I have nothing against anyone that does, I just choose to not do so.

I shouldn't say it publictly, perhaps, but I think the same way. I don't have that set (I think it's called Castaways Collection by Nerd3D - the same set, but without Dawn and Roxie fits, is available from Rendo) - firstly, it's dynamic, so Poser-only. Secondly, it simply didn't catch my eye. Lastly, Wilmap and DragonSpace made things I prefer. There is a whole theme on that blog:

    Gosh, I'm not sure... %-P

But, yeah, the incredibly wide range of styles used in anime means it's better to talk about a specific artist than about anime as a whole. (That's why I say Aiko 3 is a Fijusawa-style figure rather than an anime-style figure, for example.) I think you're saying you're looking for Toriyama-style figures...?

It is not a problem at all! Here's what he said:

"The outfit that you see in this pic is a mix&match; made by me from Genesis 1 clothes: mainly it's the Night Guard for Genesis, with the hood from Elven Dress for Genesis. The furr shader is from Furify Shader (from DAZ), customized a bit by me."

Yep most of those shown in those links are from the Set Wilmap made at my request. I too re-texture or shader them for different looks. They really helped me when I was first setting up my Primitive Folks. Now my needs have grown as has the cast of characters needing a set that does not match half the others worn in the same render. I'll get there yet.

TIP: building your very own Bow Fire Drill for use in renders is one to really get stress out with, I promise you will cuse the day 3D was ever invented, and that does help (once the screaming ends). :red:

What about changing the clothes' looks with morphs and then saving them as clothing presets and such? Furify Shader may help too, I don't have it, but it could spice the things up. Or full LAMH...
