Thanks !
Nice yarn !!!!
Sending positive karma your way to overcome the blockage !!! Looking good so far !
~ you're welcome ~
just a basic scene setup.. all modelled in Carrara
Seasons Come Seasons Go!
Love it!
Bunyip - Salt & Pepper Seasoning - very clever!
Diomede - That house is adorable! Hope the creative block goes away so we can see more.
Steeza - Seasons Come Seasons Go! - Ha! That's great! Love the unwinding cassette tape spewing out.
Sorry everyone, total face palm, I forgot to open the Entry Thread...
It's open now,
Cheers
Thanks for the comments, Buynip and desertDude.
Oh no, time for the entry thread to open and I don't have any completed projects yet.
Have to get it in gear.
Most excellent.
Here is a Winter scene I started, not really knowing where I was going. Still haven't eneded up anywhere...
And here is a bird I started for a Spring scene:
~ + 1 _ agree ~ and perhaps a 8-track tape "could" be there also ~
~ nice bird ~
Stezza - Oldie render is another Classic
Diomede - looking forward to your completed renders
DesertDude - toon bird lookin great
ed3D - time to get an entry or two in ?
~ yeah , it is ~
~ and a few _
not an entry just wanted to add my spice
I'm still worried about using Quote functions. And now one of my images has vanished from above...
ed3D - Thank you for the nice comment about my simple bird model.
Thank you Bunyip for nice words about my bird model.
ed3D - Those images are looking great. Your images have a...an enigmatic quality about them, very contemplative. The texture of the sand with ripples looks nice. Dare I ask, is that a procedural texture within Carrara? Maybe Marble?
Wendy, your spice is always welcome!!!
Cool image...delightfully macabre (to my eye). And nice wordplay.
(There is probably something else there I might be missing...I can be pretty obtuse...)
Cheers!
DD, quotes are OK at this point.
I didn't see that winter scene when you first posted it. I don't think it ever posted.
Edit - the bird was there (looks cool) but not the winter scene.
Thanks UnifiedBrain for nice comments and forum info.
Let's see if the image uploads correctly...test, test.
I think I discovered something interesting regarding colored *cast* shadows, but might not be practical or work in all situations. Hmmmm....
edited to add: sorry it's late here for me and I need to experiment more but it involves the Glow Channel of the Shader tree
Cheers
Sorry DD, still can't see the image.
did you upload it to the forum then delete the thumbnail?
you need to leave the upload there if embedding or you will see it because in cache but we won't
Variation on a freebie tree I offered at ShareCG. Some changes to make the branches more dense, leaves bigger, replicated some decorative balls, added the tree skirt and star, and that sort of thing.
Freebie here. https://sharecg.com/v/92793/gallery/5/3D-Model/Xmas-Tree-with-Tinsel-Carrara-Format
"Hot Boys Season"
Carrara native render, no postwork.
Super work!
Lots going on, subplots etc Love the (cardinal?) figure clapping but recieving some no doubt devious piece of news from one of his minions. The shaft of light adds mood to the whole piece, and the King figure (Henry?) has a pose of authority. The overall look of the render is pleasing to the eye as well.
Great. :)
