Whoa! 52 unread posts in this thread! I managed to miss the August challenge as the month sneakily ran away and disappeared on me. I hate it when months do that. But it's good to see new faces here along with all the artworks. Welcome! And well done everyone, both new and veteran.

Great to have you back isidorn... I wondered where you went off to.  You may have missed August but September is just starting ;)

If you mean the creature in the aquarium, that's one of Dinoraul's monsters. I think most of his store is still available over on Rendo. I do know they postd an obituary notice for him not that long ago, but heard nothing about closing his store..

Oh yes... so sad... Lots of great artists leaving us these days.  I'm sure if they close his store they will let everyone know.  Thanks for joining the challenge... Hopefully you can join us for this month's CERAMIC too :)  Look forward to seeing what you come up with JOdel :)

Llola Lane I made you a special doll. Just don't let it out no matter what it says.

ermm... Thank you???  lol... I won't let him out.. promise... He's too spooky!  lol

Wonderful ceramic artwork Agi... I have those shaders too.  ;)  Thanks for sharing.

  • Very well done AgitatedRiot. I am not sure if it looks happy or in pain. Llola Lane may let it out if it tells her it needs to go to the bathroom. Or, she may just slip in a small litter box.

  • He's smiling and winking. I made the glass container in Blender using a hemisphere then shaded it in Daz. The stand was made with two cylinders primates in Daz then shaded with Homestyle 2 Iray Shaders | Daz 3D

It's Evil and needs no food or water, nor does a doll have bladders and such.

It's amazing what one can create with primitives... I build all the time in SecondLife... and I'm quite happy with what I've come up with ;)

    Minor Disagreement

Hehe, good one!! Situation looks familiar, my better half likes to toss things around a bit every now and then:))

Very nicely done Gordig, this is one reason I switched to paper plates. Big plates with a china pattern.

    Breakfast Time

I used Porcelain Shaders on the vase and candle holder and floor tile shaders

  • Very well done sueya, that is a fine looking breakfast nook that could make me take my meals at the table ( rather than a TV tray in front of the TV). Especially if that lovely young lady was sitting across from me. That is to say as my granddaughter.

  • Did a render of the character I "cast" as my D&D character, as if she was an actor ("Blaire Chase") playing the role, and this was the photo used for an interview in an industry magazine.

  • Must be one of those rare and good looking D&D human characters. Well done LynninDenver.

Yep,she's pure human. She doesn't look as glamorous as this when she's on set - a full set of armor (made out of foam or aluminum depending on the scene being shot), dirtied down and scarred thanks to the makeup department, and her hair a little less combed.

    Teatime!

Re-working and repurposing components frrom some of my illustrations. Shaders used are AliBea's Porcelain shaders for 3DL.

I did go at things with the geometry editor to give everything trims in the same general places.

Raw render. No postwork for a change.
