Hansmar: Beautiful Entry. I love the Light...
Here's my first entry.
Dragon.
NGartplay, Horo, Spuddy, adbc, mermaid010, MelanieL, Yellow Pen: Thanks, but I have to say that the starting scene by Simone83 did a lot of heavy lifting for the lights and the reflection on the water (though I moved the scene and the sun around).
Yellow Pen: Is that her pet dragon, or hers to fly? Otherwise, I would not look forward to meeting with that magnificent beast. Sky is great. By the way, I think you forgot to set the width of your big picture to 800 and therefore it is a bit squashed (which makes the lady very thin).
I quickly made a second one. I used elements from an earlier render (I am rather lazy). The surrounding is Level19. There is a robotised Aiko, two Sluggians and some equipment. I used several lights, including some with gradient colours.
Title: “Looking (for) a head.”
Yellow Pen, how pretty. The clouds are lovely. I think that Hansmar is correct; your small image shows the correct ratio but the inserted image is squished.
Hansmar, that is a hoot. Thanks for the laugh, well done.
Yellow Pen - lovely dragon pic, beautiful sky and sea.
Hansmar - tee hee! Fun interpretation of the theme (and nicely done).
Yellow Pen - beautifully done dragon scene.
Hansmar - great scene, funny word play, too.
thanks Hansmar, Ngartplay, Melanie and Horo.
I'll correct the size of my Picture, thanks.... it's not what I want.
Yellow Pen - beautiful render, very nice sky
Hansmar - excellent idea and superbly done
Yellow Pen : beautiful scene with the dragon. Awesome atmosphere.
Hansmar : original idea, well done.
My last entry : Future meets nature.
Adbc - nice idea and beautifully done.
adbc - nice idea indeed. Very beautiful entry.
adbc, great conception and render.
Yellow Pen, I did the same thing with my image in another thread. I didn't know how to fix it so in Edit I clicked on Source and scrolled to the image size and changed it to 800x533 then saved it. Your picture is wider so your height will be much smaller than mine, or maybe you know how to fix it the right way.
mermaid, Horo, NGartplay : thank you.
NGartplay: thank you, I didn't try this... I've resize it in my 2d Program.
I Set the Document Size in Bryce a little bit smaller now. When its not enough, I'll try your way
adbc - another neat idea and nicely done.
Adbc: what a nice Idea, and very well done.
MelanieL, Yellow Pen : thank you.
Hansmar yes a hoot indeed nice job done
Yellow Pen Great idea with lovely sky and atmosphere
adbc a nice idea and very well made..... lovely background
spuddy : thank you.
My first entry.
Name: (The World is) Coloured Not Black or White
Used: Everything self made, two renders, one with the Specular Method, combined in HDRShop with a mask (as shown below).
Lovely idea Horo, great render
NGartplay, MelanieL, Horo, adbc, Spuddy: Thanks, glad I brought some fun to your day.
adbc. Lovely render.
Horo: Wow, great effect and also wonderful skewed landscape.
Yellow Pen: If you add a picture via the picture icon and the URL, you can simply put '800' ine the width-size. If the window is wide enough, you will then always see it in the right ratio. But if you make the window too small, you will get the squeezing effect again. Unfortunately, as far as I know, the forum does not work with automatic resizing to keep the high-wide ratio constant while fitting the picture in the window.
Horo - that looks great! Clever idea.
Horo: this looks fantastic....
Spuddy: thank you.
Hansmar: your Entry with the headless Lady looks great.... I forgot to tell this.
Hansmar : thank you.
Horo : fantastic work, the textures and the sky are awesome.
Thank you mermaid, Hansmar, MelanieL, Yellow Pen and adbc.
Horo, wow, this has so much movement in it and concept is, indeed, clever. Nicely done.
NGartplay - thank you. (If I were more political, I could add that there's not only left or right).
@ Hansmar:
Cloud Atlas - Very atmospheric picture. I love the film and your picture as well.
@ spuddy: thank you.
@ Yellow Pen: handsome dragon. One could look forward to it.
@ adbc:
Future meets nature - I love this idea. Well done.
@ Horo:
Colored Not Black or White - A great and true statement. Unusual but really great idea and well done.
Horo nice idea and great render
drachenlords : thank you.
