...Packers pummeled Da Bears 38 - 17 on four Rodgers TDs and two interceptions of Chicago's QB Cutler by GB's defence.
Ground game still noticeably absent while the run defence remains as soft and light as a Wisconsin State Fair Creampuff.
...weekends are beginning to feel more like "weekends" again meaning having to get the most out of only two days.
Still, depositing first paycheque in my account next Caturday will feel so good. After that it's reinstating my Net service so I don't have to play catch up every weekend.
Also will have cash for content again (crikey the wishlist has grown). Looking at the Old Railway sets as they would fit perfectly in my story. Still in need a good eccentric old Country Manor (Jack, you listening?).
I wonder if I can load Howie's older sets for Carrara (like Secret Lake or Country Lane) into Daz. Wendy successfully did so with his latest one.

I have a *WORKING* computer again! [does a little snoopy dance]
that is not the entire reason I disappeared (only the reason it was so long) - just had a lot of things sort of hit me at once and just needed some 'away time' (away from everything - sat around and read, spent some time with just the wife and dogs... that sort of thing). Was just about to get back on the horse when the computer starts acting flaky and then dramatically dies (damn horse must have seen me coming!)
anyway, got it working again - which ALSO took longer than it should, though that was my fault and not the manufacturer's (Maingear! Maingear! Rah! Rah! Rah!!)... they were great about helping me diagnose it and getting me the parts (yes, ladies and gents, that extended warrantee is worth every penny) but trying to get into all the contortions necessary and holding/bolting/unbolting/etc. with only one working arm (and the 'off' arm at that - I am right handed and it is my right shoulder with the injury) is... well, a heck of a lot more difficult and time consuming than it should be!
oh - and on top of family health issues, personal injury, accidents, a vacation and dead computer - I was robbed while on vacation! Oh... and someone also (not connected to the robbery - which was thankfully just a backpack with some stuff in it rather than something really serious) got ahold of our credit card info and went on a buying spree. Weeeeee!
which actually leads me to a complaint: credit card was canceled (obviously) and so for a while was card-less. Unfortunately, this period came EXACTLY when the auto-billing for my PC membership was to happen, so I get the messages that my charge wouldn't go through and I was going to lose my Platinum Club membership. I contacted the billing/sales department and explained the situation, that it would only be a few days before I got my new card, and I really didn't want to lose my membership after so many years so couldn't they grant me a little leeway.
... to which they replied, "eh. Just rejoin when you get your new card"
excuse me - that was NOT what I was asking!! I could figure THAT much out. I specifically said I didn't WANT to lose my membership (I know, it is a tiny thing, but I kinda LIKED seeing that little thing showing I had been a PC member since 2006)... not to mention every 3rd blue moon or so they will do something nice for long term members. Also it ticks me off because of the indifference - I was not asking for some HUGE favor much less to be allowed purchases during that time - I just wanted my membership extended a few days. That I was unimportant enough that it wasn't worth it to them to type a different date in the box and hit 'Enter' or whatever to someone who has been paying them for 8 years (as well as buying way too much stuff - most that I ended up not needing as much as I thought) really irritates me.
... haven't re-joined yet. Not sure if I am going to... I mean, I am just a minor hobbiest in 3D anymore so it is not like I was getting a huge value or savings like I used to when I bought stuff fairly often. Plus I dislike having my nose rubbed in the fact that they don't give a crap about customer loyalty/service - I mean, I know most places don't, but at least pretend!!

Anyone in the PC, have you used your $6 PC coupon yet? If so, does it show on your account page that it was used. I've never noticed it, but the PA coupon shows that it was used, and on which date it was used. I am wondering if they do the same on the PC coupon. I can't remember if I used it or not.
