    Football is over here, street cleaners are out in force today washing away all the litter that got left behind by 100,000 football fans :)

    oh - and on top of family health issues, personal injury, accidents, a vacation and dead computer - I was robbed while on vacation! Oh... and someone also (not connected to the robbery - which was thankfully just a backpack with some stuff in it rather than something really serious) got ahold of our credit card info and went on a buying spree. Weeeeee!

    which actually leads me to a complaint: credit card was canceled (obviously) and so for a while was card-less. Unfortunately, this period came EXACTLY when the auto-billing for my PC membership was to happen, so I get the messages that my charge wouldn't go through and I was going to lose my Platinum Club membership. I contacted the billing/sales department and explained the situation, that it would only be a few days before I got my new card, and I really didn't want to lose my membership after so many years so couldn't they grant me a little leeway.

    ... to which they replied, "eh. Just rejoin when you get your new card"

    excuse me - that was NOT what I was asking!! I could figure THAT much out. I specifically said I didn't WANT to lose my membership (I know, it is a tiny thing, but I kinda LIKED seeing that little thing showing I had been a PC member since 2006)... not to mention every 3rd blue moon or so they will do something nice for long term members. Also it ticks me off because of the indifference - I was not asking for some HUGE favor much less to be allowed purchases during that time - I just wanted my membership extended a few days. That I was unimportant enough that it wasn't worth it to them to type a different date in the box and hit 'Enter' or whatever to someone who has been paying them for 8 years (as well as buying way too much stuff - most that I ended up not needing as much as I thought) really irritates me.

    ... haven't re-joined yet. Not sure if I am going to... I mean, I am just a minor hobbiest in 3D anymore so it is not like I was getting a huge value or savings like I used to when I bought stuff fairly often. Plus I dislike having my nose rubbed in the fact that they don't give a crap about customer loyalty/service - I mean, I know most places don't, but at least pretend!!

    anyway - hope everyone is doing well =D

    Nutz to getting robbed, there are so many bars spikes deadlocks grills and deadlocks bolted on to our place that I sometimes wonder if I can get out again, or back in. Perhaps support misunderstood what you wanted and will waive a rejoining fee ? :)

    I picked up Maclean's bathroom and hotel interior this morning. I was telling fiancé that and he was all 'in Daz right? Cause I have no idea where we would put an extra bathroom in our house'. I giggled at him. We're still recovering from Saturday

    Yeah, for me, I don't NEED more content for Vicky's Diner, but I could USE more stuff. :-S

    And then rummaging around trying to FIND them all in your runtime, testing them to see what they look like under YOUR lighting, and then organising them so you can use them later when you want them >_<. And if you're REALLY organised, saving your own DUFs with proper DS shaders applied...</p>

    (at least DIM's "Show Product Files" helps a little bit in pointing to the directory...).

    There might be a week five?

    There are a couple of days left before the end of the month, so there's hope yet. I can personally recommend the skunk, the anteater, the alligator snapping turtle and the raccoon.

    yeah, I am not holding my breath! rejoining fee??? Great way to keep from getting my money - especially under the circumstances!
