    I played with the 'gameon' abstract again. I used some 'glass-block-like' textures on the spheres (two different ones) and a rather colourful sci-fi sky. The reflective places are at 45 degree rotation. I am quite happy about the colours in this one.

    adbc, Horo, MelanieL, mermaid, thanks for the nice words.

    With a small set of changes (making the reflective planes at 0 and 90 degree rotation) and a very different sky and a mother of pearl texture on the inside (small)s sphere and a city lights texture on the outside (larger) sphere, I got this very colourful, almost prismatic result.

    Another one. This took aaaaaages to render (several days), probably due to the blurry reflections. It uses an antivignetting filter and a fishye lens. There is a light with negative specular behind the small sphere.

    Hansmar - cool idea, very interesting scene. Yes, blurry reflections can increase render time dramatically.
