Just now seeing the thread, since the great forum shut-down is over. I will only add I took one look at that product and had the same reaction and closed the promos. I can't even remember if it had a kitchen.

Yeah it sorta has a kitchen it has a sink with a dishwasher and a refrigerator and some shelves, no stove or oven
Apparently the forums went out Saturday, and came back Sunday- again. As someone mentioned over in Commons, seems to be a weekend thing whenever it happens. I was doing work so just shrugged it off as "here we go again. And again. And..." Currently it's miserable in Pensacola because it's not only in the upper 40's / lower 50's, but cold rain. UGH. It's a stay inside day. At least it's not freezing rain, although we came close as it was below freezing this morning.
Hey, don't knock the 40s or 50s, we just warmed up to them! Last week I walked Bugsy in the snow, with a temp of -3, windchill of -11F. The dog moved FAST! It was a 10 minute walk.
Actually all our dog people had to make walks short, get the jobs done, and get the pooches home before paws froze.
But the cold was no fun at all. I actually just walked to the apartment office in jeans and a Tee Shirt, without two layers of coats or sweaters. Weird, felt underdressed. I was still wearing my mask though.
Want to point out another store Renderosity has 70% off an Ocean Effect Maker product, and it's from my favorite vendor. 152726 is the SKU and it sure looks interesting. I like the high polylgon count going toward lower polygon counts as you head in the distance. There's a 48 hour bin sale ending today. The Fast Grab here also has some stuff I've wishlisted, such as CB Bexley. I want to give her a try.

Oh my gosh, Love Kitty has canned cat food AND ONE CAN OPENED! At Rendo, SKU 152387 It's only 55% off, but if the product ever got removed, I'd kick myself for not getting it. So practical!
Ouch, Real Feel in Alaska right now is 88 below zero. On Accuweather: The remote northern town of Deadhorse reached 50 below zero, with gusty winds bringing real feel as low as 88 below zero. Believe it or not, that's not the coldest it's ever felt in Deadhorse. A RealFeel of 101 below zero occurred on Jan. 28, 1989.
So who the heck wants to live in Deadhorse? (aptly named.)

Well, that 20% off new items is SO bad for the PAs. I have two Daz+ items in the cart to get Vyusur's original cat Zeus at 60% off. What was he when first released? He's 13.98 at 60%. I'd love to get the cat sold today but 20% off? Daz is flaming out so far as me buying anything. I won't support it.
I thought about doing the same thing with the Daz+ items, but basically, the difference between 50% or 60% off Cat Zeus and the price of the PC+ items is more or less a wash, and the reason that I haven't bought those items so far is that I didn't really want them, so ...
The 20% thing is one of the few times I kind of feel for both the PAs and for Daz staff. The inflation thing has been hitting everyone, both them and us. I kind of get them tinkering with keeping prices more or less the same but changing the percentage. In theory, people might be more accepting of that than a 10% price increase that retains the old percentages, especially since prices have gone up in the past year or so. In practice ... may not necessarily work that way. And the PAs get caught in the middle, because they don't necessarily get a voice in how all this works.
Yeah, fortunately I hadn't bought any of the latest PC+ and very few of recent ones, so I could use the ones I did want to trigger discounts. :) So it did discount a couple dollars. Still figuring out if I'm going to buy Zeus as I don't like the rounded cheeks (head looks like a bobble cat) so I can get the tabby later. Spynx cats don't appeal to me so won't get those anytime soon. It does say recent best was 17.48 and I can get him for 13.98 which is $4 cheaper.
I don't plan on doing much during March Madness, I remember last year was rather ho hum for me. However, since I haven't been buying much, there may be more to scoop up from the past year's products.
Any of you looking for a good cartoon photoshop plug-in? I just tested five of them for two days (so tired of plug-in testing!) and Cartoon Painting and Cartoonizer are pretty consistent with things like wood, fruit. Cartoonize did second best for people (Cartoon Painting did best there too.) Here's a sample of Cartoonizer from one of my projects. I had to take it from 300 dpi for printing down to 96 ish for the forums so the details aren't quite as spectacular but you get the idea.

If you own Augmentation Outfit, the textures are in Fast Grab. Mods: the textures do not list the outfit in the required products. I had to go track it down to see if I owned it. The textures offer a nice variety, be sure to look at the gallery entries for both products to get an idea of what this outfit looks like.
