    I asume one could do this in iray too but in Octane for an animation I grabbed me a tinty camera from the list, desaturated the render and stuck all my settings low, no ambient occlusion only direct lighting and a noisy 2 samples a second decided to go a jumpy 15 FPS and called it film noir!!!!

    not this one btw, is still coming, this just gave me the idea when I grey scaled it in virtualdub
