...hmm, sounds like a shady operation or possibly a front company for sone diabolical organisation or megalomaniac bent on world domination who has an army of drooling anteaters or vampiric koalas at his command. I'd be careful.

Nope nothing nefarious but a franchise type thing and me being silly I guess.

  • friggin DAZ forum always signs me out if I open a new tab on my ipad and search the store or my library to link something for someone.

so I go back to my first tab and get page not found hitting post

it won't save a draft, it is difficult to copy or cut my post, after much finger pressing can sometimes otherwise I lose all my text when I refresh and it signs me back in again

Why does Oscar keep putting stink bombs in the litter box when I go visit him?  The real question is why am I thinking of Oscar's stink bombs right now when I am not visiting him.  Poor Oscar and his stink bombs.

He puts them in the sandbox because he's a goodboi, instead of in someone's bed.

    the smoke is killing me

I was worried I developed adult onset asthma

but I can breathe fine it's just violent coughing and projectile phlegm

so bronchitis more likely, allergic to smoke, it's tickling throat and setting me off, getting nosebleeds too

the only cure is the one all of Australia needs

rain to put out the bloody bushfires angry

...I've been watching the situation there. No rain, 40(C)+ temperatures, and wind make for a bad combination.  Hang in there.

We had similar conditions here a couple years ago and pretty much the entire state of Oregon was on fire (something like 36 individual wildfires here alone on top of those to the north in Washington State, and British Columbia, East in Montana, as well as south in California).

Which of the three is the best?  40C or 40F or 40 kelvin?

Smoke does that. Half of California was on fire this summer. Get yourself an N95 respirator mask, or whatever the Oz equivalent is. It gets the fine particulates and organic fumes out of the air you breathe.

Under *normal* conditions, at 40C, you go for a swim. At 40F, best bundle up. At 40K, you're a statue!

...40F is a chilly winter day where I live (Portland OR).

...40C is 104F which is rather warm. The all time record high here in Portland is 107F (41.6C).

...40K is is downright frigid being -233C or -387.6F

Do I still have a signature or is it the fact I am on an iPhone hides all signatures?

No you still have a massive signature - larger than most people's posts.

There is a restaurant named Charley's that make great lemonade, but I have a pet name Charley.  She does not make lemonade but . . . .  Wait never mind she does not make anything great other than great expressions with her mouth.  Basically she gaps her mouth like a fish.

Non-complaint:  One of the advantages of being a shut-in (well, at least isolated in a tiny town, without transportation, with nothing to do and nowhere to go) and not going out to busy public places very often is that I haven't had a real sick day in almost two years.  No cold, no cough, no flu.yes (knock on wood)  Of course in my dotage I also open doors in public places by using the sleeve of my jacket or shirt if I don't have gloves on and I rarely handle cash anymore, and finally after many many decades I've learned not to bring the tips of my fingers near my face, especially my eyes.indecision  And I avoid children like the plagues they carry.sad

As a cashier it is pretty much impossible to avoid cash.

    Stupid stupid stupid stupid.

I got too much stupid stuff in front of the tv so I cannot see the full screen.  I am trying to figure out what Vikings are doing but clueless about it.

Probably should take the stuff off the desk that are in front of the tv.

...thanks, doing my best. Made a spicy Vietnamese dinner tonight that used a lot of ginger and topped it off with some sriracha, that should help.

...unfortunately they won so that means the I have to favour the 49rs as I don't want to play the Vikings a third time This will mean the NFC championship will be in San Francisco..

I wanted Seattle to play the 49rs again as the Seahawks already defeated them once this season and almost did so a second time. If that happened the championship game would be in Green Bay should the Packers have played and defeated the Saints.

  • Can I point out that the Vikings lost their technical advantage in about 1100, possibly even before then, when Cogs got their Forecastles and Sterncastles.

And as it's after 11:00 I need a mug of nice strong tea. Fight-back, float a lead spoon, coat the mug with dark brown sludge strength tea. The thick black lining on my mug has started to flake off, so it needs re-building. And the tea is a bit crunchy. Nice.

    Richard.
