My computer has win11, but my iPad doesn't, It has something else.

fortunately my PC wasn't on and rendering, it was only powering the modem and drives that stay lit but in standby
I heard it beeping and realised my bedroom fan still running so house had power
it maintained power so my internet remained connected (that's a whole other PITA as my IP address changes if disconnected so have to do 2factor verification on Google etc using all my devices)

....I mentioned about that regarding Saturday's Grab Bag Ketchup sale. all items 3.99$ for Daz+ users. there was the addition of Buy any New Release for 10$ of more to get an additional 20% discount which based on Daz Math came to an 80¢ savings per item. I found an item for 10.49$ which meant that to break even (just cover the cost of the qualifying new release) I would have needed to purchase 13 Grab Bag items for a total of 40.75$ + the 10.49$ for a total of 51.24$ (and I would still be 9¢ short).

My light just turned off. Now I am sitting in the dark. I don't feel like troubleshooting my smart strip right now. It is still working as my computer is still plugged in. My light is just off.

Yes, but only when it wants to be lite up. I usually don't look at my keyboard.

I have been simulating Primavera hair for 12 hours now

I've been rendering a 300-frame animation. I haven't been keeping a close eye on it, but the current render (starting from frame 66 because the first render crashed) has been rendering for almost 28 hours and it's only up to frame 102.
ah the rendering will be a whole other day
...I thought 25 - 30 min to sim Primavera Hair (Maxwell Titan-X with 3072 cores and 12 GB VRAM) was too long hence I only used it a couple times.
According to the product page it's supposed to take 2-5 min on RTX 2070..
I stopped it after 640 frames
the result will need to be watched on YouTube signed in as age restricted by me because it's a Filament render and her top disappeared first camera cut, Filament does some odd things sometimes.
She is by a pool so not implausible she'd be topless about to disrobe for a plunge.
Will do iray renders another day.

It's up to 70 hours now, and I'm on frame 102 of 234 of this render. I feel like it's taking longer per frame to render over time; when I first started the render a frame took somewhere in the early 20 minutes to render.
