The product is designed to pick up the figure it was originally designed for. EG if you load Genesis1, and click on Fit Control for G2F, the script will complain.
So, the only version of Fit Control that will work is the one designed for G2M. Now, unfortunately, I can not release a Male version with breast morphs lol. However, using GenX2, you could transfer the female morphs of Fit control over to G2M.
Thanks for your reply. It's a real shame that G2F/G2M are not compatible in this way when GenX2 does such a great job of transferring morphs between them so that the morphed characters are indistinguishable from the original figures. The workaround you suggest would take a lot of extra work sadly.
The reason I liked Genesis was because I could create such interesting hybrids of male/female/creature figures. I moved on to Genesis because of that DAZ promotional video where the figure morphed into different characters. Then G2 came along with more detailed models which I like but the difficulties with gender morphing cross compatibility is a real step backwards in my opinion. Why would it not be possible for a G2 male figure to have breasts? Some women are flat chested (for various reasons) and in this day and age concepts of gender are a lot more fluid now. Real people come in all shapes and sizes. DAZ might be enforcing strict gender boundaries for the motive of increasing profits but it (inadvertently?) creates a conservative limitation on the type of figures that are possible. There are workarounds but these are unnecessary barriers in my opinion. If the intention of G2 is to create more realistic figures then restricting realism to increasingly out-dated concepts of gender isn't really reflective of the modern age. Hopefully DAZ will return to the more flexible approach it had with Genesis at some point.
Bought Fit Control first day out and been having all kinds of fun :-) Love it.
Thanks again for another great product Zevo
My pleasure:). I got tired of clothing issues so I decided this is something that could be useful. Why send to an external app every time when we can try and fix some issues directly inside Studio
Nice results!! That dress in particular is very fussy with different shapes lol. Specially the breast area. It was one of the dresses I used as testing because it is one of my favourites and was a challenge lol:)
The thing is that these are not all static morphs. There are movement morphs which will change from scene to scene. So if I save a scene I want to be able to continue moving parts of the clothing as required after I re-open it.
This isn't an issue if you have lots of free disk space or if you produce a single scene to render and stop at that. Most of mine are like stories with 20 to 30 scenes and two or three characters per scene. Each scene follows on from the previous - like a comic book.
I've just had my first crash in months after I hit render after loading and posing a single clothed V6. Maybe it was nothing to do with the scene size - I'll have to monitor it carefully.

DavidGB's workflow is working well for me (Thanks DavidGB!). Saving the morphs in the data folder for the clothing item doesn't make them static. You can still adjust them individually each time you add the item to a scene.
Lol we actually had it that way where it only applied to the selected item. For some reason we changed it. I know we had a good reason why. :P
We will have a meeting to discuss all points brought up.
Hmmm... The promo for "Fit Control" says it's discounted by 40%, but in the store and in the cart it's only at 30%. Should I bring this up to sales support?
Hmmm. It was discounted at 40% over the weekend. Bring it up and see what they say. If that special is over then indeed the image must be altered or removed.
We have sent a query
I didn't check at the time. I've just had a look at the order but they don't itemise the discount percentages so, if there is a variety of items on the order, it is difficult to say which item carried which discount.
Greetings,
I bought it by itself (and it is an EXCELLENT tool!), and it was definitely 40% off at the time, so it worked at some point.-- Morgan
Ok guys we had the discussion regarding the scripts. The main script cannot be altered. It will break the product in a lot of ways. Instead, we have included a delete unused script. So before saving scene you would run this on each selected item you wish, and all morphs with no value on that particular item would be removed. Then when opening scene again, you will only see the morphs with values populated, and if you wish to add the other morphs again, you just hit the main script. The zero morphs script shall remain as that is still useful. I will upload this soon here in the threads for those who want to use it now instead of waiting for the official update. Thanks for the feedback:)
Seems reasonable, Zev. Thanks.
Discount should be fixed now
Thx chohole
I see other people getting fantastic results, so I'm still glad I bought the product - but trying to use it on what's essentially Callie 6's default breast shape with some minor tweaks, I can't get the results looking as beautiful as everyone else has got them!
Can anyone recommend some settings to use? Currently, what I'm getting iiiiis...
MelanieL's example was fantastic! It stopped the cloth from making the breasts look large and unnatural and completely smoothed things out, can anyone help me out with settings to try/ ^^
What clothing item is that?
NUMBER ONE: BWC Sexy Sporty which for some reason I can't find on the store
NUMBER TWO: http://www.daz3d.com/piratess-for-genesis-2-females
NUMBER THREE; http://www.daz3d.com/ladybug-outfit-for-genesis-2-female-s
The majority of my content unfortunately ends up like the examples, which aren't bad, but what people have posted here is certainly what I'm looking for and expected! So the problem is either the Callie 6 figure or the settings I use, but I can't get the breasts looking natural!
Can you post your morph settings so I can cross reference?
The settings are there in the screen caps at the right hand side! ^^
If it's Callie's settings you meant, just add natural: 0.19 to her default figure's breasts!
LOL ooooo....I didn't maximize lol. Was just looking at the chest. My bad :P
Easier just to type "fit control" into the search. Same way I usually deal with "Growing Up", lol.
Now, if you had just made the icons different for Genesis and G2F, so we wouldn't have to hover around the two to find out which is which.
I think I can accomodate for that.

I don't have the other outfits but here are my settings for the Ladybug top. Also increase the smoothing to 3 or higher. It's default is 1 which is pretty low for nice smoothing results. Hope this helps. Oh Center UpDown 1 in my example is the normal Centre UpDown. The one you see is the updated version I am working on.

The "delete unused" morphs script can not delete or remove any morphs from the figure itself. You will be prompted with a "please select a follower and try again" message.
