Perfect, Barbult!! Love it!!
Thanks, Daventaki!
Wow! That's fantastic.
Did you notice the crumpled candy wrapper on the floor? I applied dForce to the Pie Roops.
Ya Just Gotta Know Where To Punch It
Dent created with Mesh Grabber. Candy pile created with UltraScatterPro.
Mama! There's a New Flavor of Zippy!
I colored the Zippy machine in the Surfaces pane. Lemon-Lime Zippy - yum!
@Barbult, great fun renders! Now I'm thirsty and in need of a snack ...
I recommend a Lemon-Lime Zippy and a WEETEE'S bar.
Thanks for commenting! I'm sure having a lot of fun with this product.
@Barbult Your renders are truly incredible and serve as great inspiration for those of us at the "...boy I wish __I__ could make great renders like that!...." stage!!!
I also appreciate all the friendly help you lend others in the various UltraScenery posts. The world needs more people like yourself! - Ray
Wow, Ray, that is so nice to hear! You made my day for sure. Thanks.
Oh man, am I loving these renders, especially lemon lime Zippy! And dForcing the Pie Roops bar was a nice touch.
Retired Zippy
You work your whole life - day and night - serving the public, and then they replace you with one of those newfangled things and cart you off unceremoniously. Man, it ain't fair!
Old Machine Rest Home
Blue Zippy Joins His Contemporaries At The Old Machine Rest Home.
I don't often comment on this part of the forums, but based on the quote above-- just wanted to thank you for sticking with it. Wonderful well made product.
@Barbult
As mentioned elsehwere, renders-- esp. "Will I Get Caught" really an inspiration for some of us! : )
@Barbult
re: Retired Zippy
Love the detail in both the sitting area and a street-view through the window
re: Old Machine Rest Home
One can FEEL the darkness and loneliness in this one.... "you gave it all you had, Zippy - job well done!" ;-)
Thank you all for the nice comments. It looks like the end of the road for old Zippy. Only time will tell...
Oh no! Poor Zippy machine. Hopefully it will get a second life as a prop in the background of a Viagra commercial, like that one where all those middle-aged guys are in a band: Viva Viagra - YouTube
Can always chat about old times with the Ark of the Covenant in the room next door.
Really loving the volumetrics in this one. I can almost smell the dust.
Eeeewwwwwwww! That makes me cringe. No, I have something more dignified in mind. Zippy deserves it.
Good one, Richard!
I used Mesh to Volume on a cube the size of the room to create the volume.
Rollers & hinges pretty straight forward to rig for pulling out bottles I might add.

The Old Machine Rest Home is a storage facility. Nostaliga is worth a tidy sum of money. Zippy will be sold, refurbished, and occupy a proud place at "Le Retro Boutique" where it will probably hold designer, micro-brewery beverages. ; )
You read my mind.
Nostalgia Museum
Buster, the guy hired to move old Blue Zippy, moonlighted weekends as a security guard at the Nostalgia Museum. He recognized the Old Machine Rest Home as a potential gold mine. He informed the museum curator and received a substantial finders fee for his discovery. Now old Blue Zippy and his friends have a place of honor on a pedestal in the museum, where they are lovingly dusted and polished each evening. They've even been restocked with recreated merchandise. It is quite a popular exhibit, drawing crowds old and young.
This one's for Richard.
Chatting About Old Times
(One-upmanship in storage)
Oops. I had to go back and fix spelling errors.
LOL!
Love it!
Hah, that's very good - I can mentally hear the voices (which are different from the ones I usually hear)
Oh that's a great idea! Mind sharing your settings with me?
The voices you hear cannot spell. I had to go rework it and fix spelling errors.
Unfortunately, I can't see what settings I used in Mesh to Volume after it closed. I think it was the default values after pressing the "reset options" button. The noise intensity was 0, because when I tried a larger value, it took forever, and the result didn't look as good to me. Because it took so long, I was hesitant to continue to experiment. In Daz Studio I turned the Density Multiplier way down to 0.0050 and Density Relative to Size was On. Render Settings were Scene Only and Tone Mapping EV was 7 (Shutter Speed 2.00). I turned the emission of the machines way way down, but not quite off.
