complaint: one of the items that I ordered from Amazon.com marketplace is delayed because of a carrier issue.  I bought a portable radio and an AC adapter.  The USPS has not moved the AC adapter from California in two days.  I really need the AC adapter because I don't want to waste the batteries when I am using the radio at home.  Radio Shack didn't stock the AC adapter that I wanted.

Morning. Dawn's afterglow soft lighting roof and tower and bare branched tree to an impressionist version of our familiar skyline. Can't wait for some clear skies *impatient*

Good day!  Going to hit 100F here, dangerous heat warning all weekend, oh joy.  Do not want to go outside now.  sad May be best to order pizza and pasta, even the walk to the nearby Mexican place can be a painful trip.

Ice cold beer this afternoon.. yeah.. cool

...oh my goddess, it's water from the sky today.

No wonder all my joints are hurting like mad.

First time in a couple months, and we are supposed to be the "wet" part of the country.

...beer, I remember beer. that kind of tasty amber liquid with white foam on top that makes one feel good after one has a couple bottles or pints.

I drink free lemonade but not hard lemonade.  This cup had soda in it but now it has lemonade.

"Predestination" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2397535/   This IMDB article is OK to read, i.e. no spoilers.  But if you want to enjoy the film DO NOT look up the Wikipedia article about this film, or other detailed articles about the film or original short story because they may have major spoilers. indecision

I caught that movie a week or so ago on TV.  Part way through I recognized the plot as something I'd read many decades ago that had become a core memory of mine. (Robert A. Heinlein: "All You Zombies")  my favorite time travel plot!  I never knew that it had been made into a movie. smiley Very well done!  Mind twisting, brain expander.  Careful attention to detail is required, and perhaps two viewings. enlightened
