....why is when I do have a bit of money to spare, nothing is on sale that I want?

so yoo can spend it on beer?

...yeah makes sense.  But after I spent it all on beer then something I want always goes on sale.

As to the 17$ for 6$ coupie.  I try to keep the total as close to 18$ as I can then it's only 12$.  Need some flash sales and stuff I like to go on Fastgrab though. Didn't get to use my PA coupie last month

Hoping they also do another "targeted" discount offer for a Gen 6 figure so I can use my DO coupie as well. Aiko 6 will do. I've been so lax in purchasing due to my financial straits I should have the whole Gen 6 line available to me.

...mine expires after next week Thursday  Considering the RL stuff I have to deal with, not sure I'll renew right away until after more important things are dealt with

Apparently they rarely see rainbows there.

    That's sad... sad

...and some things never change, reminder bots still break.  Finally caught up.

Misty take care of yourself.  No drinkie (of the alcoholic type) when on antibiotics makes a bad combination.  .

LeatherGryphon, scary situation there, I always fear something like that so I stay close to whatever I am cooking. Good you caught it when you did.

Well looks as if there is some movement on my disability case finally.  Received some supplemental forms that I sent off early in the week and today got a notification that an exam has been scheduled at the end of the month.  Also was finally able to get a general exam scheduled for next Monday.

Still been sending out those resumes and today got a call back for an interview for a grocery checker at our local chain of supermarts and will have an interview next week Thursday.  Only PT to start (30 hrs) but it's better than nothing and will work into a full time position.  Good company to work for as well as they are relaxed on dress code and very good to their employees.

Having to write this from the workstation as for some reason after a while, the screen on the notebook goes blank (not totally black which is the screen saver I use).

Best of luck with everything!!!!!! smiley

Todays fun - messing with Windows settings so I can more easily read this high-res screen, re-installing all my Rendo/RDNA content, putting a "this number is changing" message on my old phone since I'm switching to my HTC DEsire 610, getting a new sample librry installed and tested, eating leftovers, and watching Food Network.

Going to be around 102F today with heat index over 110F.  Heat warnings everywhere.  Not going outside today unless forced. indecision

    Maybe play some games too!

*edit* Slow drive is slow, according to Windows the copy of my old content from the USB drive to my local HD will be done tomorrow afternoon. indecision  Reloading some DAZ DIM stuff I missed backing up will take all week.. ugh. Must do a better job backing up DAZ content next time!

Apparently they rarely see rainbows there.

Smog.  Caused perhaps by 20 million microwaved pizzas?

FYI: during my pizza debacle when the appartment was completey filled with smoke upstairs and down, my smoke alarm never went off!  I should probably look into that. sad  Also I've discovered that vaporized sausage, mushrooms, black olives, tomato sauce and bread settles as a greasy amber film on everything it touches.  After cleaning the inside of my microwave oven with Windex my paper towels turned from white to a nice amber/orange color.  Now I get to start on the exposed sheets & towels, then the woodwork and windows and then try to figure out how to clean my oriental rugs and the underlying carpet.  Thankfully my clothes were all in drawers and well sealed portable fabric closet.

Immediately after rushing blindly into the kitchen to stop the microwave and throw a nearly flaming slice of pizza out the front door I felt my way upstairs and found the big fan then set my air-conditioner to blow high speed air continuously as I opened the only window I can open downstairs (in the kitchen) and put the big fan in there to blow the smoke out.  I tried opening the front door but the plume of smoke coming out the kitchen was just sucked back into the house along with the mosquitos and horseflies lurking in the horse pasture next door.  It's been a lovely afternoon! crying

Wow!  And woe!  I hope you get things straightened out, aired out, cleaned out, and bugged out, before too much longer!  And yes, look into a new smoke alarm!

does it make sense to spend 17$ to use a 6$ coupie?

It's $18, but yes, because then you actually only spend $12.  I missed using both coupons last month.  I was so busy I forgot until the last minute...but it was actually an hour late.   crying  There's one month that the PC+ didn't pay for itself.

That horseshoe product doesn't say what horse it is for.  Is it for Mil Horse, Mil Horse 2, Hivewire Horse, Poser Horse, Adh3d Horse?  It should say.  Instead it says "Compatible Figures: N/A".

They don't let you keep your phone number, just because you're changing phones?  Even when changing service, most of them let you keep your number.

Backing up DS stuff is tougher these days.  It puts things in other folders, not just your runtime, right?

And yeah,.. DS content is all over, DIM puts it's downloads in several places, blech!  Need vodka now...

Did a clean install of Windows 10 but that did not solve the problem.
