    I've worked on a few V4 characters based on celebs. This was one of the works I was pretty pleased of. A texture from a Adam Thwaites character was used here

    Probably european/american bias working again. I've never seen Gilligan's Island - only heard about it - as I don't think it was shown during my lifetime on german TV. But I have seen James Frain in many different roles in BBC and newer US TV shows.

    And it's also probably another case of "personal opinion" as usually in about 80% of the cases shown here I don't see a hinch of resemblance to the celebrities named. So it's just to be expected, that when I see a resemblance, others will not share my view. wink

    compared to the Edward version I linked a couple pages ago this one seems to have gained a few more pounds... Can't say I really see a large resemblance to Sean Bean or Ned Stark.

    It's the hair and beard that sorta kinda make the resemblance, but I agree that it's not an extremely close likeness.  Close enough to maybe hand spin some morph dials the rest of the way...

    That being said, he is a rather handsome fellow, and I wishlisted him as soon as I saw him.  Maybe the next time Rendo does a wishlist sale or something...

    The bald version pic shows off the face real well, and he reminds me of someone, I just cant think of whom...

    He reminds me of this meme, although I haven't a cue who he is or the show that is taken from (I think Mordor is a place in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy I read when I was 15 so maybe he is from that show and that picture is from one of those films):

    I can't say I see much Bob Denver here, but I can see where you are coming from. If he turns his head just right, he could pass for Gangsta Gilligan, a character who was cast away from The Godfather. That's right, that's how he wound up on that island! The boat was rigged, man!

    OK, question for the collective:

    Tremors 6 came out (direct to DVD and BluRay) earlier this week, which has me thinking once again about that majorly awesome character Burt Gummer!

    So, I'm not seeing any Michael Gross mentions for celebrity lookalikes via google.  Has anyone seen one?  Or do you have a thought as to which model might be closest?

    I'm about to watch Tremors 6... not expecting a lot, but 5 was fun... and I like the 'tone' in the Tremors movies, and I tend to chuckile a lot while watching them!  Guilty pleasure or some such.

    It'll be a bit before I get to this, but I'm feeling the need to do a Tremors fanart piece...  Any suggestions r.e. Michael Gross r.e. which male Daz models to look at?  G3 or G8 preferably, but I'm good with G2 or G1 too (M4 if it's premade).

    Edit: a reference pic might help...

    Posssible But natalie Dormer has quite thin lips while this character has very full lips.

    Hey, there is an amazing collection of celebrities for G3F-G8F by Adam Thwaites (his Celebrity Series), but where can I find a full list of these real celebrities for each model? At a glance I could recognize several of my favourites - Celebrity Series 06 is Liv Tyler (https://adamthwaites.deviantart.com/art/Celebrity-Series-06-726454475), Celebrity Series 10 is Angelina Jolie (https://adamthwaites.deviantart.com/art/Celebrity-Series-10-1-734674887), Celebrity Series 13 is Emma Watson, Celebrity Series 09 - Jenny Lopez and Celebrity Series 14 is Salma Heyek .     05 is Scarlett Johansson, and I think 11 is Kristen Stewart.  Not sure about the others, sorry.

    CS08 is never Emilia Clarke... there's not even a bit of likeness to support that in my eyes.

    And CS14 as Selma Hayek? Uhm.... nope, never ever...

    Don't know where those two are supposed to be, as I don't really give much about knowing celebrities, but Hayek and Clarke are among the few I recognize and that I've seen in multiple roles on TV or in movies..

    Does anyone happen to know if there are any celebrity look alikes based on the retro Japanese Singing Duo  named Pink Ladies? As many outstanding CG models have come from Japan I am certain that there is a rendition of these ladies somewhere, but I have no idea where to look. Thanks!

    Singers tend to be underrepresented, pre-90s celebs who weren't in a popular scifi franchise tend to be underrepresented, and the photos on google search are too crappy for Facegen, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say their likenesses are probably not out there.

    I'm sure you are right Odaa, it is a pity because I have been able to convert some Pink Lady motions from MMD into DAZ and it would look great if the likeness of the actual artists were performing it.
