Where is the product. I buy it....but nothing in DAZ nor in Installed plugins ?????? vaporware 2?

It's a pre-order, you get the product later
It says we will access beta. So DAZ sell product as beta with no beta available

I have to admit that the product page is a little vague. "Purchasing Face Transfer 2 in pre-release means you will get access to the unlimited version in the beta (Public Build) versions, as well as the General Release version which will be launching in the coming weeks."
To me that does indicate that purchasing now gets you some kind of access to the Beta today, so you can start playing with it right away, and then you'll get the full version when it's ready in December.
But it could also be that buying now just means that you're able to buy in now at a lower price (30% off) than what it cost on launch day?

It says that it will be available in the DS beta first, then later there will be an update for the general release. If you do not wish to pre-purchase then don't, it is up to you to weigh the cost and benefit of each offer before deciding whether tot ake it up or not (or even to decide you are not interested enough to do any weighing). It does sound as if it will have the same trial option as the original face Transfer, you will be able to use it with watermarks but will be limited to three full savs without purchasing the non-demo license, so you can always wait and see how much of an improvement it is if the sweetner is not tempting.
Did you get a serial number after you made the purchase? Does anything Face Transfer-related pop up under Window:Panes?
I can't wait to get my Luke and Leila action figures in the mail, at least I have this cardboard display to look at until then.

By the way, although I'm not an English speaker, I understand the meaning of "WILL" perfectly ----> "Purchasing Face Transfer 2 in pre-release means you will get access to the unlimited version in the beta". Will can be "after purchasing". But for DAZ marketing it was too difficult to write "...in a future DAZ version.
I do have a serial number, but neither the release or beta versions of DS recognize it. I guess we're waiting for a DS update that includes face transfer 2, instead of (or as well as) face transfer 1.
Well this might explain why MadSkills Studio up and disappeared. Tried to go to their site over the weekend and it's down. Figured maintenance or an upgrade might be in progress and then I saw the newsletter about Face Transfer 2. Similar product. So bye-bye MSS!
I inquired and was told that there were server issues and that it should be back in a week or so.
Anybody know what happened to the $30 free original items? I purchased but when I went back to get some, no free shows up in my cart when I do.
The "free items" must be in the same cart with the FT2 when making the purchase

It also explains, that Genesis 9 is currently handled by Face Transfer 2,
but Genesis 8 and 8.1 is handled by Face Transfer 1.
One must wait for the version on DS beta that has it included.
It is even better, than I thought.
With Face Transfer 2 one can exchange the face on Genesis 9 character in some already made scene
with the another face from the photo and the skin of Genesis 9 will be updated
to match the skin on the face from the photo.
It opens up so many new possibilities for me.
Some tips on the photo, to be used for Face Transfer 2:
File Type: PNG or JPG,
Minimum Size: 128 px by 128 px
Passport style photo preferred
with neutral lighting, neutral expression,
looking directly at the camera
and any hair should be pulled away from the forehead, temples and cheeks
in order to get the best results.
Where are you seeing this?
It's mentioned in one or both of the videos. The implication ( although it's not specifically stated ) is that, if you have Face Transfer 2 and there is no character selected, then a G9 character is created, and if you have a G9 character selected, then Face transfer 2 is used to create a face on it. If you have Face transfer 1, and a G8 or 8.1 character selected, then face transfer 1 is used to create a face on it.

I did not get my $30.00 product either nor did I get the plug in either....I do have the serial number, but no where to put it?
Open a Sales Support ticket, they may well be able to help you.
There is no version of DS released yet with FT2.
When one bought the pre-release FT2, one should have selected the free items and have them in the same cart with the pre-release FT2
This was a pre-order, the plug-in is not yet available - it will be in a Public Build of DS sometime nexct month, from my reading of the product page. if you missed claiming the freebies please open a support ticket, there is (or used to be) an option for missing claiming freebies or something like that.
I don't do preorders on this site anymore. After the Daz Horse 3 debacle, I'm certain that if it's Daz, it's gonna go pear shaped somehow.
Same. The horse mess was ridiculous. No more preorders for me.
