Yipee! I've been a very good girl and have hardly bought anything during the Holiday Sale, so I have plenty saved up for Growing Up.

Me too - as long as I can just keep ignoring Olympia 7... (what a shame there was that hint of a related saving on the next male model)

Should be live before the week is over. It has been confirmed.

That's great news (I'm deliberately ignoring the qualifications as Zev0 likes to tease. crying)!

Oh Yes! Really looking forward to this release:)

    I bought it!

Looks really great. Is there a link to the Readme anywhere? I searched the SKU in the usual convoluted way but came up blank. :(

Zev0, I have to ask about the teeth. Are the gaps intentional? I always look at the teeth now when I buy morphs, because there have been several instances of vendors not zeroing out the Mouth Realism HD before creating their morphs, which causes unintended teeth distortion.

Edited to add the same figure without Growing Up G3F, for teeth comparison.

It was intentional in a way. It can be dialled off. It is a JCM that activates with the youth morph. A 5 year old has less teeth than an adult so I tried to shift the teeth a bit to cater for the change. If you have the 200 plus head morphs you can easily widen the teeth with the jcm active. I'll probably do an update to lessen the gaps by default. Here is a shot of the jcm that can be dialled off to eliminate the gaps IE resetting it to default state.

Thanks for the quick response. That kind of flexibility is great. I do have the 200 Plus head morphs, so I can experiment with that, too. I don't think the gap looks bad, but it did surprise me a little.

Should be listed under the ReadMe's folder in your Content Library. Anyways here is a link to the pdf https://www.dropbox.com/s/za4v539118afmny/Growing Up for Genesis 3 Female(s) Tutorial.pdf?dl=0

    Bought! TY Zev0.

  • Yep, this one went straight into the cart, instead of languishing in the wish list like Shape Shift is at the moment. Will play with it when I get home tonight.

Thanks Zev0 for the quick response. I wanted to read it before I committed to buy, as the product page refers to the readme for details about how the product can be used as a resource. The PDF answers my questions. Thanks and looking forward to trying out the morphs.

Hi Zev0, sorry if this has been asked before, but I want these morphs for male and female. You mentioned earlier that a bundle was planned. If I get the female version now will there be a discount on the male version?, or would I be better waiting until the bundle is available?

I will probably add a discount on the male version to match bundle price for those who have the female version. Hope this time the discount structure will actually work the way it's supposed to.cool

Straight into the cart, thank you ZevO :)  Have been looking forward to this product, now I am hoping someone starts modelling some children's clothing, certainly something we have been lacking for a while now

Indeed, although dynamic ones would be nice too.

Great product! Definitely a buy. Does anybody know who the base (adult figure/face) character is for the front promo pict?

  • Zev0Zev0 Posts: 7,089
    edited December 2015

That is the base figure:) All the characters on the main promo just have the youth morph dialled in on the default base shape. Probably the skin/brows that makes her look different.

I'm having trouble fitting hair when I use the Growing Up morphs. This is the base figure with Young Teen and Paisley Hair for G3F. I verified that it is Fit To Genesis 3 Female, but it sure doesn't fit! I'm doing this is DS 4.9.0.54 Beta.

Edit: I verified that the same thing happens in DS 4.8.

Edit 2: I have a similar problem with Eclectic Hair. Both are Daz Originals goldtassel products. Are they just bad hair products, or ????

Yes, I think it says that V7 was used, so what I was actually asking was: what is the skin used for the character used in the front promo page:) ?

Bought...haven't downloaded yet but will post a render when I have chance.

On the teeth...that is very realistic. I work with grade 1/2's and often their milk teeth have a gap between them. Then when they get their second teeth there is room for them. Kids who don't have the bigger gap often have problems with their teeth being too close together so they don't grow straight. I see it all the time...

In regards to the hair do you have a smoothing modifier on the hair? If not put one on and it will give you collision. If you already have one try playing with the collision settings.

If that doesn't work have a look at the autofollow settings on the hair.

Edited to add...I do have the plait type hair...I'll give it a try when I get chance but have to go do the weekly shop.
