Thanks!
Yep, that's about what I had with "fun". Getting the black tip on the tail not to look misaligned was the hardest part. Probably would have been easier if I used something like Blender, but everything I've heard suggests that Blender is even more "fun". ;)
I havent seen this but did you ever utalize or convert any G2F youth morphs into your G3F? I had used the trasfer utility tool to place all of my g2f morphs into my g3f. If you did this then you will have two seperate Youth morphs which i have some of the same issues. I wish zev0 would have atleast renamed the new g3f morphs so there would be no conflict. If i use the youth morph now then i have to use the rigging tool (Edit/Figure/Rigging/Adjust Rigging to Shape... - make sure everything is checked/default is always everything). MAKE SURE YOUR FIGURE IS TOTALLY ZEROed! No bends, nothing. After i adjust them then i create a new property, and ERC my figure.... Follow this link for more info about saving out your characters. This is the only best method i have found to KEEP everything intact.

Good luck!
I like blender, love the interface and all the shortcuts. I hate transfering items to and from Daz.
Thank you so much! I forgot I did a mass transfer of G2F morphs to G3F forever ago. I was still learning about the morph transfer stuff, so I forgot to ERC freeze a bunch of things I should have. Lo and behold, there were the old GU morphs, affecting each of the characters that saved wrong! Weirdly enough, I'm not sure why the new GU scripts would go to an entirely separate, custom user folder containing the old morphs and load those, same name or no, and only sometimes at that? Nor why loading a save where I manually used the correct ones would sometimes try to load these unrelated (and unused) old ones. Regardless, having removed the offending (and obviously not necessary any longer) old morphs, the characters made using the proper morphs are back to functioning correctly, and I get to sort out which saves used the old, wrong one. Thanks again, Anonedel!
And Thanks Zev0, for making me clean up some of my old messes!
No problem, glad to be of service. Anything for zev0!
zev0, is there anyway of seperating these so i can keep the old with the new?
Out of curiosity, what does "ERC" mean?
Enhanced/Extended Remote Control is what it stands for, what it means is one morph or transform controlling one or more other morphs or transforms
Thanks! Is this "ERC freeze" something that can be set universally across the entire figure? Seems like a fairly important part of this morph transfer process. By the way, is there any documentation on the transfer process?
ERC Freeze sets the relationship between a controller and one or more controlled morphs - eveything is set as it should be when the controller is at 1 (usually) and then the command is invoked on the control property. It's a tool that inherently has to be used one master property at a time.
They need to have different names between the two sets, which can be edited and resaved by you (Save As > Support Asset > Morph Asset) but make sure that any other controllers that could rely on that morph (ERC DeltaAdd) – as well as others controlled by that morph (ERC Multiply) – are set to match.
Example: Satsuki loads 8% of the Basic Child morph. Were I to rename the Basic Child morph, I would also have to edit Satsuki in order for her to keep working as intended.
The renaming could be done by hand in a text editor and the latter updating might require (or just be easier with) text editing instead of resaving in Studio. I'm not sure. Kattey's big thread would be the place to ask for details on this. Text editing must be precise, where some of this detail is automatic when done in Studio.

Remember, you can always work on copies or temp files, including the morph files in the data folder. If you overwrite something important and aren't sure what happened, you might have to reinstall the whole product and start from the beginning. With a backup, you can just switch it out for your working files to see if the morph works again or if it's a problem with your saved scene (or scene subset.)
p.s.: When editing products someone else made, you're safer saving your files with different names and locations (make your own folders and product categories) instead of just updating. If the product is updated in the future and you reinstall after you change original files, your changes will be erased!
Hi.
I loved the earlier growing up, but I have a question about this one for g3f.
I got to try it recently and I found the nipples(breasts?) to be very low on the chest. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this...it gets more apparent if you use age 10/younger teen with a flat chest...going older I suppose you would have some breastdevelopment which might make it look more natural (have only tested out quickly, so cant say for sure on all combos)
Yeah so just wonder if this is indeed true and maybe just missed or if its just that I had bad luck due to something I dialed in?
Thanks for an awesome product though that is a big help when doing renders with kids.
Which morph(s) are you applying?
hoestly I dont quite remember, but the body is mostly just pure growing up and flat chest morph or breasts gone or something like that.
I´m going to experiment some more when I get the chance.
Also clothes get distorted in the chest area...but maybe that is unavoidable due to the big difference in breast size from adult g3f?!
Using a morph made for the base shape on Growing Up is going to have odd effects - there are three custom breast morphs included which seem able to remove the breast swelling if you are using an intermediate value of the main youth morph.
Thank you :) I will continue to experiment when I get it on my own computer.
So Zev0, what's next? :)
(Yes, back to the salt-mine for you.)
Growing old? I need old folks to be grandma and grandpa to my characters. And maybe also great grandma and great grandpa
Would be cool; just curious. :)
When Growing Up for G3M will be available?
This month probably. I just finished packaging the final files.
...and there was much rejoicing.
After the male version and Bundle I am working on the MR skin. Trying to make it unisex so it can work on males and female younger shapes. Still working out the fine details on that.
That sounds good: the worst thing about Genesis 3 is the difficulty of using older skin textures hence the lack of variety available (as yet). A set suitable for younger characters would be great.
Here is a sneak peak of the male version next to the female.
Okay... This is going to be a must buy as much as the G3F set was, because I just saw the two kids I'm writing a story about looking at me in that somewhat promotional image...
Yeah boys are important too. I have a little nephew who is definitely a boy. He likes action figures and cars. (Remember he is not yet five so his cars can fit in his hand.
Wish they stayed that cheap to buy and easy to deal with. :)
Here are some male version promos.
Looking good - I snagged a new GC in yesterday's sale in anticipation.... now hurry up, boys, and arrive!
