Here is a sneak peak of the male version next to the female.

Yeah boys are important too.  I have a little nephew who is definitely a boy.  He likes action figures and cars.  (Remember he is not yet five so his cars can fit in his hand.

Wish they stayed that cheap to buy and easy to deal with. :)

There are two differences between men and boys; one, the price of their toys and two, the fact that men can buy their own toys (or should be able to). :)

    Greetings,

I broke my self-imposed moratorium on non-PC+ DAZ purchases (imposed due to finances, not any issues with DAZ) to buy this; thank you VERY much for the discount!

Extra thanks for making it, when male products don't always do so well.  My own two little boys will be thrilled to see themselves in renders!

Bought! Which texture is used in the promo pictures? Is that the texture you are working on, Zev? Will there be a version for the adult with "Anatomical Elements Material Preset" ? I like the adult morph very much with that texture...

Oh and thanks for not making it encrypted only.

    Hello,

I bought your pack today but I have a kind of problem and I don't kown from where it come.

For the following example I used Genesis 3 Female Starter Essential, Growing Up for G3F and Daz 4.8.59.

If I load G3F figure, apply to it the 4-6 years morph, put on it a pose and save it as a scene, when I load that scene there is a display bug on the hands of my character.

If I do the same with a character with T pose, sometime it's happens, sometime not.

I'm sorry for my poor english but I hope the following images will help you to unterstand what I mean.

I don't know if that issue belong from your product, from Daz itself or from myself.

It's not the product. If so, there would be other users experiencing it. Must be something else causing it.

I thank you. I will search what happens.

Can you post a screenshot of the figure's bones so I can check the rigging?

  • HavosHavos Posts: 5,361

try setting the hand's pose to zero (select all bones in the hand and then goto to Edit->Figure->Zero->Zero Selected Items. I have sometimes seen that strange effect when the bone bends clash with the morphs under Pose Controls, so by setting all to zero may help.

I thank you for your answers.

If I go back to Adult shape, the hands displays well. And if I put 5-6 Years shape (or 9 Years), hands and fingers are going in any directions.

How can I show the figure's bones ?

Click on the joint editor tool. The icon looks like a bone.

I don't understand  : it is not happening when modifying the shapes, but after saving the character.

  • Have you transfered growing up morphs from G2F to G3F before installing "growing up for g3f"? If so you might want to delete/rename the old morphs so they don't dial up at the same time causing the bones to go crazy.

    lol ..

I remember I have installed a pack of morphs who are transfers form G2F to G3F. It is a freeware from a passionate. May be i need to search in that direction.

But a problem is often a good way to have a better knowledge of our sotfware.

A special thank to lowaim for his perspicacity : effectively there was morphs files who were in conflict with my stuff. After that top info, the more difficult was to remember where I have found this freebee  .. delete the files was easy .. lol

And a special other one for Zev0 for his job and the price of the bundle.

And a other one for all your answers.

Glad you're sorted.:) In most cases that type of distortion occurs when a morph is active that hasn't been rigged. When doing morph transfers from G2 to G3 or dialling in a new morph, you have to re-rig the morphs or they won't match the bones which will lead to that type of result when they are active.

Well I grabbed this as soon as I saw it - thanks for the $5 rebate for G3F owners too smiley Only problem was it took me several minutes to download despite it's size, as DIM still seems to be in trouble, Ah well, I got it at last and can play tonight...

  • Purchased. Thank you very much. And thank you again for the customer loyalty discount.

Now that we've got a few kids in the "gene" pool, we need either the clothing makers to start making a morph to shrink-wrap between the breasts ala Genesis 1, or an inset morph or five for the body, to make that funny centerline breast go away when the other two are dialed down.

A D-former might do it on smooth clothing, but some clothing has wrinkles added...the MFD looks like the latter in the above pics.

...or...we need a new dynamic system that works with conforming clothing.  :D  The ability to select by material zone would be mighty useful.

Try the Flat Chest Smoother morphs in Zev's Fit Control. :)  Worked like a charm.

    Good tip...thanks for the info.

I hope I'm right in assuming this works with 4.8 as well as 4.9? I haven't upgraded yet as I'm in the middle of a project and I'm also waiting for the migration issues to be fully sorted...this is sitting in my cart at the moment just waiting on confirmation that it will work in 4.8.
