    After twiddling my thumbs for a month (they are extremely well trained by now), I want to show off all of my glorious modeling skills laugh

    Well, "modeled" really is a bit much. It's just four spheres and a cone. A little scaling and bumping up with Mesh Grabber and a feather texture from Winged Wonders

     ooo ahh... happy birdies Fae3D... The robins have built a next in our deck gazebo... They have scared our feral cat way that's been living with us... I hope she comes back!  Well done.. thanks for sharing.  :)

    Thanks, glad you like it!  Hmm, I don't think I've ever heard of a cat scared off by birds before, usually it's the other way around, right?  Hopefully she'll come back soon!  I did, however, once see a pair of mockingbirds kill a decent sized snake that got too close to their nest full of eggs.  It was really strange, I didn't even think that was possible.  So maybe the cat is wise after all?

    Speaking of cooking something, my April entry is here too: Peaceful birds (well, if you're not a worm of course). It's a follow-up from my March entry:

    After riding a couple of hours in the morning, Victoria and Lacey enjoyed a well-earned picnic.

    After a picnic, what’s better than lying around under a tree ?

    Doing so with birds singing around you, of course!

    It's been a bit of a difficult month, but I didn't want to miss submitting a render to the monthly challenge. So my render is a simple figure with two birds. Rendered in 3Delight with work in Photoshop using adjustment layers and Camera Raw filters.
