The coupon was in the opening verbiage prior to starting the survey.

It's on the top of the survey page.... and the code works after your survey is done ~~

They should of just gave a store credit but I guess they had to restrict it to DAZ Originals. Hmmm, and the product I tried the coupon on is not a DAZ Original...so I see what went wrong there once I find out what the coupon code is again.

Thank you for the coupon. The survey was easy to fill out (I really only use Facebook and DeviantArt, but you don't have to use a million social media sites to fill it out); the only negative is that I wish that DAZ would focus on more important things than social media (which I mentioned).

Yes but the problem is that a number of people didn't notice it and expected it would be emailed as in past surveys. Now that they have completed the survey they are unable to access it again to get the code.

Well, it should have been in bigger writing (or I should learn to read the preamble more carefully). I expected the code at the end, or to be sent via email like they've done before, but after pushing 'done' it was too late to go back and check anything. Oh well.

I wonder if CS can send me one if I file a ticket...there must be some record of us completing the survey if the code only works when you do.

There is no harm in trying and for $10 off I certainly would try.

Confirmed that it works - thanks again :)

It's the same code for everyone - presumably only active on an account if they've completed the survey.

No way of knowing that for sure. So, it is probably best to let customer service handle it for those who didn't notice the code.

That's what mine looks like too, but I didn't see a code.

Well that was fun. Guess I missed the coupon in the small text too. They've e-mailed the things in the past. That sucks!

BUT! And I did not expect this... A nice person rescued me from my apparent failure to read. Thank you for that! heart.

The question to rank the social media platforms 1-9 is flawed. I don't use 8 of them, it wouldn't let me give a "9" to the eight I don't use. So the data collected is worthless.

They really should have had the coupon code in some large bold type so a person would know that was the code. Putting it in the tiny-type boiler plate that falls in the TL;DR category was a bad design solution.

  • For those who said they didn't use or hadn't heard of some/all the "social media" sites in some of the questions:

I only post on or regularly check two of those. So they got ranked 1 & 2. For the rest I treated the question as "Rank in order of how trustworthy you perceive these sites. So Twitter/X got 9 for obvious reasons; Art Station 7 since I didn't know it had forums; and Reddit a 3 because if I did a search and a Reddit thread/post came back I would definitely check it.

I can't believe I forgot about the Twitter fiasco when I was ranking the 7 dwarfs I never look at.

Ah well no coupon here either, as didn't really register that the coupon was at the start of the survey, guess I am out of luck with this one.

I find it strange they would put the code at the beginning of the survey instead of the end. that way anyone can click that link and get the code without filling out the survey at all.

It was a bad decision and cost me the coupon code.

Tip for those of us who didn't notice the code and have already finished the survey: Right-click on the email link and open it in an "incognito window" (Chrome) or a "Private Window" (Firefox), then the survey doesn't know you've already done it and you can see the code at the top of the page.

  • Thank you Daz3d :-)

I also filled in most of the social numbers in no particular order after 4 being careful to have Facebook last. I don't use most of them and a few as little as possible.

No, it likely won't work unless one really fills out the survey. [tied to email address].

    Check PM.

Well ... this survey was better than most of Daz's past efforts ... it had some boxes to type in information. I used that.BUt had I not been warned in this thread, I probably would have missed the coupon code at the beginning as well. It did work for me though.
