    Here's my latest portrait:

I was following a tutorial about how to set up lights for a real life portrait photography in a studio and tried to replicate the approach in DS.

I think it turned out pretty good, @Toyen.

    @Musicplayer  Very nice.

Okay, my latest isn't appropriate for the forums so if you want to see it you'll have to travel here.  There is nudity.  I'm really happy with it.

This looks like my old Drill Instructor. It's very good. Did you use your new character you make to render? I bought that character. I think will try to copy that portrait verbatim to get a realistic render actually reasonably good. I've failed on all my other attemps, LOL laugh

Wow, really nice deathbycanon.  Thank you for using him!

Your welcome, I used him again. :)

This is the 3rd winged render I  have done in a week, and I still am struggling posing the wings, although I think these came out the best so far.

Excellent render-I noticed this in the gallery as well and commented.  Great posing and I like the lighting a great deal. I agree-Ron's brushes are the best, and you've used them very well here!

Wow, damn it, that's some impressive stuff. Love the rain and using the wet hair for the render is a very clever solution. And Diesel looks fabulous...

I've been watching too much K-pop lately. Left-overs from Korea trip last year.

This is awesome-Love the darkness in the frames, the collection of the males you've used...great render.

Thanks,  I think Diesel always looks fabulous. lol I love this render, at first I thought they were brothers, then read your description, and actually knew what you were talking about. Since one of my youngest daughters Korean friends just died his bleached his hair for swim team and now they all call him the "K-pop" star and I made her explain what that was to me. lol

  • Thank you, Darwin and deathbycanon.

Here's on I forgot to post before, with two Elijah's:

I was watching "Ghosts of Mars" on HBO the other day. Not a particularly great movie, but every time I saw the Martian bad guy leader, I thought of DarwinsMishap...

LOL- that's funny, because I snickered during the entire movie. I'll take that as a compliment, thank you!

I'm not usually into cowboys for some reason, but I was itching to render one. I think this ranch hand is looking for some distraction. :D

    Well...

    I'm definitely distracted now...

Nicely done! I'm partial to cowboys these days.   Maybe the absence of realistic gear adds to the challenge
