    It is 'blâme' instead of 'blame' so I blame Google :)

    IMO, this guy has that weird look saying he may have been drinking too much absinthe. Anyway he really looks like a begin 20th century french seaman and he made me smile because of that mustache :)

    I personally prefer Querelle (Brad Davis in a Rainer Werner Fassbinder film) who has this butch look i like so much and occasionally wear.

    Now I'm imagining ways in which the movie TinTin might have been watchable.

    As soon as I found the sailors cap, I knew what had to be done :)  I couldn't quite handle Querelle.  I'm a simple man, with simple tastes laugh

    @timmins.william - How could you have possibly not like TinTin and Snotty?

    Hmmm, I just watched the trailer of The Adventures of TinTin and it looks pretty good but maybe not as good as the cartoon.

     @Barbult thanks for the nice comments about the wall art. The original pics were of lotus flowers and they looked kind of 80's to me.

    @Mal3Imagry aww! Thanks!=-)

    Great shadows on that one Mal3imagry and I love the way his tat blends in with shoulder in darkness. smiley

    lol Serene, nice work on that one.  Made me snicker!

    Mal-love your guy there.  Always have.  This render in particular, however, I believe has become my favorite.

    Did one for fun instead of promos and stuff with my Diesel.

    A hot man in a kilt always gets my vote darwin'smishap! =-) I like how the depth of field made some nice bokeh with those trees. Good one.

    Thank you!  Not bad for 8.75 hours of rendering.  That DOF killed the time.

    I've been in sort of a mood to do cowboys lately so I'll probably do a few more.  "Cowboys ain't easy to love and they're harder to hold-" Well, unless you are Boyd that is, then you just dress up as a Cowboy, just because... Well, because you are Boyd. Of course nothing beats Chohole's cowboy earlier in the thread, which I just love. =-)

    I didn't realize until I tried to do cowboys, how many props I had that didn't look quite right. The bandolier had to be fitted manually and recolored, and originally I had it over the other shoulder but it just didn't look right. I'm going to do a few more cowboys. Clearly I need more practice! What a hardship!

    @DarwinsMishap - DOF is fantastic, I must say.

    @Serene Night - a hat, sturdy pair of boots and a pair of chaps is all a cowboy needs.  Shame no one at the rodeo that I attended, on Friday night, dressed that way sad

    @mal3Imagery - goodness!

    @Mal3Imagery: Love your beautiful poignant glowing alien/ghostly man. Very cool. Love that!

    Thank you very much!

    Mal-that one is very poignant; lovely work.

    @Mal3Imagery  Both images are great!  I love both.  Different moods and well done!

    Serene Night  It seems strange to see Boyd as a cowboy but you really made it work!

    @DarwinsMishap  I like everything about this one.  It's nice to see you do one just for fun! :)

    I've been quiet in this thread for a long time. Just have to ask, with that strategically placed hat, why the trousers? wink

    With the amazing renders here, and I have to say, especially from mal3Imagery, it feels a bit daunting showing my own renders. But here goes!

    Now get off my lawn!

    Kimo and wine

    Not sure why, but I really like the Kimo 7 character.

    I feel your pain, and not just Mal3Imagery's stuff. I feel like such a noob compared to everyone here.

    A tiny little render of the renderosity character, Alexander, who looks like a young prince harry to me...

    Those are chaps, Pardner!  Truthfully the hat was first on the head, but I don't like most of the cowboy hats in my runtime. So I had him doffing his hat, and that was where it ended up. I may re-render at sometime. I Don't like my photoshop work as much as I did originally.

    Kimo 7 looks good, as does the Darius! Get the heck of my lawn!
