    How many Daz Originals do you have in your wishlist ? Last year, there was an unknown minimum number under which the script would pull items outside of your wishlist.

    I have zero idea how the back end of this works, but assuming no repetitions, the system needs 60 options, so I'd say it might not hurt.

    I think it is a simple system where it just when the day start find what you get offered. Having a list where it ensures no duplicates would just make it more complex.

    I put Amerie for Kanade 8 in my wishlist yesterday (thanks @Wonderland) because she includes palm- & sole-lightening overlay maps. Today she's my free item.

    ...had to deal with some RL stuff Thursday so missed purchasing the Advent calendar item I had in my cart and the one punch I had went disappeared..

    Once again todays 2.99 selection costs more than it's recently been.

    So taking the free item by default 

    If this was a $1.99 v free situation I can think of 2 or 3 days i'd have bought the item, but alas 3 dollars is just to much for something i'm not desperate for

    Very possible, and last year I did have a couple of the paid offerings repeat. But since we don't know for sure and often sales and such are way more complicated and malfunctioning than necessary (and heck, the marketing department can't even be bothered to define "recently") I figure erring on the side of caution might not be bad.

    Perhaps plus items don't count, and that's why my number of eligible DO wishlist items is too low.

    I am always changing up shaders anyways. I wonder what the outfit would look like with an organza or lace skirt & something less revealing than a bikini bottom beneath?

    Same as previous days, most items are not discounted, not much choice.

    Considering that I have to buy more than 20 days in a row, I choose to be more frugal.

    I think you get the items you add to your wishlist recently first. There was an item in Lightning Deals that was still at a higher price point than I wanted to pay but I put it in my wishlist and it showed up today for free. laugh

    Two days ago I got a free texture set for a garment I didn't own. I was not in my wishlist. I added the garment to my wishlist, and yesterday it was the free Advent item. So now I have a new garment and texture set for it.

    Yes, thanks! I have a bundle it wouldn't work with. So I will get a GC & use the store credit. Which means I can use my $10 off coupon code. More savings!

    I had something similar happen last year. When folks started noticing WLs were showing up a lot, I added several DOs & got them all, as well as other WL items by the time the sale ended.

    Oh interesting. Haven't added any DO's since the sale started, but looking at what I've been offered so far, they've been some of the reasonably recent adds. Last year when it popped things in that I wishlisted from LDs, I thought it was just going "FINALLY! Something to work with!!"

    LOL, how do those casts bend at the knee!? I actually recently fractured my foot in seven places, am out of a cast now but in a walking boot and crutches. Seeing that product just emphasized the hell I've been going through with these fractures. Ugh.

    And its not much of a catchup on still new releases since they all are still within their 2 week 30% discount period anyway.

    I have come to believe that  catch-up and extended sales are the Daz version of a "subspace anomaly."

    https://www.daz3d.com/jacuzzi-deck is on my WL, but again not sure I want to pay $2.99 for it.
