Well for Genesis 2 there was the Sisters and Brothers products, but other than that I didn't create or was involved with anything else. However, For Genesis 3, this is more essential since converting younger skins from V4 is not something everybody is willing to do, and the amount of younger skins for it are very limited.
Yes, I forgot that the Brothers and Sisters had skins that came with them. It has been awhile since I've used those straight out of the box so I forgot. I have a couple of modified ones based on them, ones I did myself, that I use when I need them. Might have to dig them out and remind myself what they look like without my tampering with them. :) I do, also, have a few favorite K4 skins that I converted that do rather well. And, you are right, I can't see being able to convert those easily to G3.
If you're interested, you could convert K4 to V4 or M4 using 3D Universe's Texture Convertor and plug-ins. Then convert to G3F using Cayman Studios new utility or convert to G3F or G3M using Blacksmith3D's Texture Transformer with Add-Ons.
An alternative, it you do not have 3DU's texture convertor, is to load K4 onto Genesis, and then use the map transfer tool to convert to V4 (or M4 to convert using Blacksmith3D's tool)
Hi Guys. This will most likely only appear in March Madness. When offering a merchant resource as well, the testing parameters are very different lol. Takes longer because the testing is more thorough. So it won't clear testing in time for Feb. Sorry about this.
Don't sweat it Zev...it will be out and that's all that matters.
Agreed; Nakadai needs some more tweaking before I can be sure I'm done with her anyway, so the delay on this isn't a problem.
And better testing is always a plus!
While I am always up for Zev0 products, I am so broke right now, I am actually relieved this may be out a bit later :D

I'm so looking forward to this. I've got your growing up for the females and it was driving me nuts trying to find suitable skin for them :)
My issue is not as much with G3F as it is with G3M. Some of the Girl 7 and Teen Josie 7 character skins are usable with the youth morphs without looking weird. I haven't found any decent options with G3M characters though. Any suggestions?

Thanks Zev. As usual, your products are of excellent quality. That is one of the reasons I have been following this thread for some time. My only concern is the current variety of skins that are available in the shop that can be used directly with the youth morphs for G3M due to the adult features and body hairs. I recently started with Daz3d and have invested heavily on G3M/F characters. Considering my present skills and commitments I don't think I would be able to leverage pre-Genesis3 assets in the immediate future. This one is a must buy for me.

I bought the Skin Creator Pro Plus for Genesis 2F and Genesis so how does this product compare to that product?
A problem with male textures is they have pre-established hair patterns as part of the main texture at least when I look at the Genesis 3 Male default character. The female too but not near as much naturally. This causes trouble, especially in men characters, for all the different male hairlines, male pattern baldness, and there is wide, wide variance in facial and body hair. Will those hair patterns all be as overlays to a completely bald base skin? Not quite cartoonish, but I guess it would look like, for a concise analogy, like child skin textures?
Or I guess I'm unknowlegeable enough about DAZ Studio and LIE to ask could I apply child texture skin to adult character as skin texture and it work good and then use LIE to overlay the hair pattern images of the various sorts appropriate for the character I want to create? Say a man with a 'chromedome / glatzkopf'
Ah, so I read the rest of the thread and see that the adult texture skins will be bald so that's what I needed. Still not sure how and if this will integrate with newer versions of Skin Builder Pro.
I'm looking forward to this product although I'm a little worried that it might appear at Merchant Resource prices (usually too rich for my pocket until they appear in sales a year later). Having said that, I also want to appeal for something else I would like to see and purchase and can think of no better candidates than Zev0 and Raiya to produce them.
Please can we have some realistic and detailed older skins. Most of the young ladies in the store are glamour model clones with almost flawless, wrinkle-free skins and most of the people I see in real life are far from that ideal. Middle age and older characters are needed, please. I'm sure the Growing Up set will be wonderful and I'm sure that you can come up with a just as wonderful Growing Old set?
All the attempts at older skins I've seen have been way, way over the top and don't look realistic at all. Same with the dirty skins, wounded skins, and so on. I mean to look at those attempts and you get the impression that they smoked heavily their entire lives while working in the hot sun picking goosberries during exhausting 16 hour days and never having taken a bath. In some cases a little says a lot and choice of hair color and a few places wrinkles is more effective and realistic.
Well, I guess the artists could answer that better than I could but I have Joanie, Bellatrix and MeMoo for G2F and they aren't too bad - though, admittedly, they could be better. I bought a couple for V4 from Rendo and they were just as you say - way too unrealistic. I have never bought wounded or dirty skins. I'd like to see more created for both G2F and G3F but I guess that G2F is now considered dead with respect to new products.

Depending on the time period, much of what you say may actually have been true, not to mention that regular bathing (including over doing it by bathing or showering daily) is a fairly recent concept. Also, I suspect that unless you're doing a lot of closeup renders, most folks wouldn't notice the lack of wrinkles. I'm not saying that a PA shouldn't attempt to do a more realistic set of skins for older characters; I'm just saying that the lower levels of detail that you're asking for may not end up being noticeable in many cases.
