When I tried to apply manual scripts, some gave me issues. I wanted to apply only certain eye surfaces.
I selected cornea in the surface tab, and used the cornea option. That worked.
But when I used the iris surface and the iris option, the iris turned bright white.
I tried the pupil option with the pupil surface, the pupil turned bright white.
First apply shader and then the script.
Don't make opposite!!!
Forgive me my friend! I forgot to mention in the manual that you have to apply UBER Base first before doing anything! Sorry!
Ah, ok. I'll have to try that.
I can only see the main program - no manual at https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_35273
DAZ needs about 3-4 days to update products!
Wonderful job! I'm having lots of fun just seeing what this do--and I'm seriously impressed. Now I have a horrible dilemma, what projects do I do next given the new possibilites Anagenessis II now provides? Poor, poor me! <grin>.
I do have one question though, is there an update planned so Anagenessis II will also work with geografted male genitalia?
Keep up the great work, it's appreciated.
Got the freebie script set up but it's not doing anything. This is manual so I am to select the surfaces I want affected, correct?
Neomi.
I find that often the skin is WAY too dark, and I think it comes from the way the script normally handles glossy. Myself, I prefer to keep glossy pure white. This image starts with Anagenessis but I removed some of the maps and simplified glossy, also made the lips more basic.
Went over the settings again. Updated the folder "shader" to "Shaders" and still not working for me! Have Dawn's skin areas selected (I assume this is the case since it states it's a Manual application). Nothing happens. Yes, I did apply the iRAY Uber shader first. Not sure why this isn't working but thought I'd reach out again...
So I've just been grabbing random characters from my Lost & Found folder in Daz, trying out NGS2. Here's a WIP. The character is Bambi for Giselle 6. Some minor post work and some noise intentionally added. I'm pretty sure this meets the "nudity" criteria, but if not, perhaps a moderator can delete it and let me know why.
Dimension-Z, this is a really fun product that delivers some great results!
N.G.S 2 has an update in DIM !
I got this to work on Dawn by following the readme instructions in the free script basically I selected Dawns Skin surfaces went to the Shaders folder & applied NGS Shader_New, etc
Once I had applied an NGS shader to each surface I selected Dawn & all her surfaces then ran the script in manual apply folder
Here is the result - I did not tweak anything
Thank you for the PDF Dimension-Z!
OK then I'm confused. So I apply the shaders from the Shaders folder... not sure what the script is for then in the parent folder.
When you apply the shaders from the shader folder (if you have your viewport on Iray) Dawn will look an odd white shade - At that point you select all the surfaces you have added the NGS shader to & run the free script which puts all the maps in the right places & gets her looking like a person again :)
Ah, OK. Busy with some product production. I'll give it another go when I get a minute. Thank so much for your help!
Thought you might be interested in this test of "N.G.S. Anagenessis 2 - Revolutions" N.G.S.2 Freebie Script for Non Genesis Figures" with "DAZ Horse 2". NO POSTWORK.
Thanks Dimension-Z for the great product and the manual :)
In my cart now, just waiting for DAZ to get back to me for my refund on an unrelated product...Otherwise, an insta-buy!
That looks fantastic!
Hi Dim-Z,
one more question.
In the Manual you wrote we can use LIE Images and Veins too. The Skin looks perfect with your product, but what i miss is some veins shining through, like with the SSS Maps from the Genesis 3 Models. Is there a way to get a layer of veins under the skin which will shine through without changing my skin color to "greyed out"? Or in which setting should i use the SSS Maps to get that shining through effect?
Greetings,
Akabane
You can still use your SSS maps in the place it was! If that what you mean.
For Example i want to use Victoria 7 as my modell and hit her "Translucency High" Button, i will get visibly shining through veins on her skin with the standard DAZ Shader. The SSS Map of her (and other Modells) is used in "Translucency Color". How can i archieve this with your shader? Using the Map in the same Setting?
You have to put SSS map in translucency color. Like you always did!
That doesn´t work for me.
The only way i can get some visible veins if i use the SSS Map in Glossy Color and / or Glossy Specular. But then, the skin totally "greys/whites out". And if i try to adjust it with color, the veins will vanish again.
Nope, just use SSS map in Trans Color & play with Trans Tints. More Red Color & more Blue or Green Tint. Just check what colors Victoria 7 has on tints.
Sorry, I do not use the Smart Content Tab
I click the character I gave the A2R Script, say V7, then go to surfaces tab, select her torso shader, copy it, go to where you want it, surface tab, select shader region paste shader, replace texture everywhere and done.
Then you start tweaking
Like i said, that doesn´t work.
Will post some test Previews tomorrow or the day after to show you what i mean. And please believe me, it doesn´t work for me.
WOW, Amazing, Bravo!
Yeah, I find I get good results so long as I'm willing to go in and swap maps around. That, I think, is key.
Personally, I find reverting glossy to white and weight 1 with no maps works to my satisfaction, but people are free to do as they want...
