Left render running overnight, then woke up to find out that Windows had updated and computer had been rebooted.  *sigh*  Render is now running all day while I'm at work.

was up to like 45% and it just stopped!!! by itself!!!

How much time (seconds) do you have it set to render? That setting overides everything else. Set it to zero if you want the % to be the criterium for finishing the rendet.smiley

    not the default?

The default is 2 hours, so no.

On the subject of Butterbeer:  I tried it.  Universal Studios Florida.  It's something I wouldn't let a child anywhere near unless he/she/it were in a straitjacket and asleep.  Can you say injection of mass quantity of pure sugar?  Now I like sweet things but drinking Butterbeer was like eating a honey donut dissolved in mollasses.  surprise

I am so glad I can't drink anymore.

Why am I seeing an empty bottle?

That must have been a rough shopping experience... But at least you won.

got the lionhead home but he is still in his bag.   I am waiting to see if he will get the idea that he can swim out of his bag instead of staying in his bag.   He has a fifty five gallon condo to swim in and he refuses to leave his bag.

Testing... Testing... Is this gonna work... Hmmm... ?

Well, I guess if it posts, it worked... Right?

Well, I got three sentences without the page freezing sooooo... Maybe stuff is working now....?

...wasn't able to get on the forums until I got home last night. Store page is still all messed up with a lot of grey boxes and even blank spaces with just a price and no title under them  Refreshing the page does nothing to fix this.

SCAYT spell check is also still borked so if there are any typos, apologies.

Please Powers That Be™ , shut down the site and fix it. Give us an estimated time when it'll be ready and we'll come back then. This random "plugging holes in the dam" approach is getting on my nerves, especially during the PC+ promotion. cryingcryingindecision

    ...yes!

It seems they always do some kind of major site work that messes up a major sales event (I understand this time it is some sort of server upgrade/update). I remember a couple years ago when they made a change to the store format and no discounts were applying for almost the entire last week of the PC sale. Missed out on a number of deals.

Other sites like Fantasy Attic issue notices several days in advance of scheduled site maitenence.

...I used to do RC flying nearly 50 years ago before everything went digital.  Had a lovely scale RC 185 Cessna Skylane (balsa, pine, and fabric) that I built from a kit, even included cockpit details.  Back then CB radios bled into the same frequency channels modellers used. I watched as hours and hours of work want out of my control (even though it was still in the range of my tranciever) and nosedived into the ground as a pickup with a couple of those big whip areals went by, most lilekly the driver tallking to some "good buddy".  After that hung it up as I coudln't afford to build another.

That's definitely the advantage of the 2.4GHz radios these days.  Solid performance.  I understand the appeal of wood builds, but the new foam planes really are quite good, and very easy and cheap to repair.  The micros (my favourites) and really good flying planes, and Horizon Hobby just released a Cessna 182.  I'll definitely be picking that up!

...yikes 129$! The kit I built cost 8.95$ and had a 48" wingspan. Even adjusted for inflation it would be slightly less than half the price of the E-Flight model (though true, the scarcity of balsa wood today would most likely move the price a lot closer to the micro foam model).  Yeah, there was a lot of assembly required, but the detail was stunning and seeing it sitting there in classic 1960s Cessna livery when finished and ready to fly was very rewarding. My second RC project was a DC-3 I bought (was going to paint it in North Central livery as I lived in the Midwest), but after the Skylane crash, the potential to lose it to the rising popularity of CB radios at the time caused me to sell the partially completed kit, along with the controller, salvaged reciever, and servos from the Cessna. Also sold a 72" wingspan RC sailplane I had.

Went to "circle" flying and rockets after that.

My content HDD decided to take a nap and would not let me have access to my Daz content.  A computer restart apparently woke it up so I can access my content.

That makes one think...ok, what's the connection, and why does Miss Bad Wolf want a stuffed lion's head?

Not gonna mention the image the second post conjured up. smiley

oh I forgot a compound word (goldfish) and another word (pet)

    It should have said

I went into a pet shop for a telescope goldfish but came out with a lion head goldfish.

The bold parts are the words I forgot.   A lionhead is a type of goldfish, not a stuffed lion's head.

    Ooooh.

I totally missed something there... I thought you were buying an optical enhancing device for celestial observation (or peeping) and instead bought a a lion head something or other (book end... wall plaque...?)... I didn't think googly-eye/ lumpy scalp goldfish...  Thus the joke referencing you going into a telescope store and coming out with a severed lion's head, must have fallen really short...

Most of my jokes land there in general.

    Nice fishy though.
