Wasted my holiday Monday plugging mouse holes in my apartment. Found a good one in my hallway closet and another in my bedroom closet. Plugged them with steel wool and silicone. Sit down at my computer looking back at the hallway closet to admire my good work, and a mouse comes wandering out of my bedroom!! It goes into the hallway closet (I'm guessing to have some of that rice that was on the floor from where they nibbled the bag), found nothing there and the hole closed, and then it wandered back into my bedroom, I'm guessing to go back into the hole in that closet.
I head out to go RC Flying, figuring it would be in the trap when Iget back, but no. It's no where to be seen. So I look a little more and there was a really unnoticable hole just inside my bedroom doorway. I shoved steel wool into THAT hole as well. Get up this morning, and there's no mice in any of the traps. Maybe he decided to leave before I closed up that last hole.
I will admit, that little brown mouse was really cute with those huge ears! And.... they swim really well. It took 2 flushes for two of them to go down. Impressive!
The radio station that I listen to, WHJY 94.1 Providence, RI, says it's Double-Shot Twosday! They play two tunes from each artist/band all day. Classic Rock station.

only 2gb left of system memory. wanted to watch winter soldier. would slow down render?
my toolbar disappeared again. ds crashed like 5 times in a row, re-enabling toolbar.
after all the crashes my menus were scrambled.
only thing that worked to fix it was to delete my roaming profile. after ds created me a new one, copied over my layout and style.
futzed with customizing color. white text on dark b/g much less stress on my eyes.

...I used to do RC flying nearly 50 years ago before everything went digital. Had a lovely scale RC 185 Cessna Skylane (balsa, pine, and fabric) that I built from a kit, even included cockpit details. Back then CB radios bled into the same frequency channels modellers used. I watched as hours and hours of work want out of my control (even though it was still in the range of my tranciever) and nosedived into the ground as a pickup with a couple of those big whip areals went by, most lilekly the driver tallking to some "good buddy". After that hung it up as I coudln't afford to build another.
Stupid spell check as you type is still not working., and this server upgrade was supposed to imnprove things? How?

Cold today. Frost on the pumpkins. Furnace came on last night. It's almost hibernation time.
On another note: I had my first cataract operation yesterday. They put me under about 9:00AM, I was taken home about 11:30AM groggy as hell. Stumbled around the kitchen long enough to make a bowl of soup. Then sat down with music set to repeat endlessly and had a 5 hour nap.
Almost awake by 6:00PM but couldn't keep my surgered eye open. It was too blurry and too icky feeling. About 10:00 PM after a few more naps I finally got the energy to tape on the eye sheild the doctors had given me so I wouldn't accidentally rub my eye during the night, and went to bed. Slept relatively soundly till 7:30 this morning.
OMG I can see! My left eye is bright and in relative focus although I still need my glasses and it's a bit out of whack with my untreated right eye. But the biggest difference is I can finally see how bad the discoloration of my lenses were. It's like my right eye is looking through dirty yellow cellophane that cuts the light in half. If I thought I had too bright monitor before, now these white forum backgrounds are actually painful.through my repaired eye. Why, oh why do web programmers insist on using massive white backgrounds. (and that's my complaint for the day!)

How much time (seconds) do you have it set to render? That setting overides everything else. Set it to zero if you want the % to be the criterium for finishing the rendet.
Please Powers That Be™ , shut down the site and fix it. Give us an estimated time when it'll be ready and we'll come back then. This random "plugging holes in the dam" approach is getting on my nerves, especially during the PC+ promotion.
That's definitely the advantage of the 2.4GHz radios these days. Solid performance. I understand the appeal of wood builds, but the new foam planes really are quite good, and very easy and cheap to repair. The micros (my favourites) and really good flying planes, and Horizon Hobby just released a Cessna 182. I'll definitely be picking that up!
