No complaints tonight, just anticipations.  Tomorrow is my 2nd cataract operation (right eye).  I don't like being put under anesthesia.  Last week it took me a whole day and night to get over it.  I always worry about my wonky heart going wonkyer.  And because I have to stop taking my blood thinners before the operation I worry about blood clots and having a stroke.  Just what I don't need, going to sleep and waking up a semi-vegetable.  Would rather not wake up at all.

Although, I have to say that the left eye operation worked out quite well, I can see so much better despite my left eye viewing things properly and my right eye viewing things like I have a dirty yellow monocle over it by comparison.  That makes me see some things strangely.  Example:  when I fill the sink to do dishes, the stream of water from the faucet head is central to my view and is two toned.  Clear as crystal on the right side, but looks like piss on the left side. surprise  Which is curious because my left eye is fixed and my right eye is not.  Must be the left/right eye/brain cross connections thing. enlightened

But if everything turns out OK, then by Thursday I should be seeing relatively normally again in both eyes and no longer have to deal with seeing my sink fill up with piss. frown

I am at taco bell kfc.  I wanted a famous bowl and a bean burrito but they said I can get the meal for one cent difference.   I did not want a cookie or a drink but they charged me the penny for the cookie and drink.  I am planning on going to the library after this and I cannot bring the soda inside the library with me.

Eeek!  I added one item and my cart jumped from three dollars to fifty or sixty dollars!  I took it out and it went back to three dollars.  now added it back in and it is now showing 3.42.  I am getting so confused.

what qualifies as an ancestral home in UK?

imagining like 500 years in a row with the same family and really big, like castle size

what makes someone an aristocat verses just being really wealthy?

is having ancestral lands the qualifier?

No, having a title makes you an aristocrat.  Being feline makes you an aristocat.

If you have to sell your lands and house to pay your gambling debts, you may be a penniless homeless Lord, but you're still a Lord.

And if your illegitimate son by the downstairs maid wins the lottery and buys your lands and house, he may be a very rich man, but he is still a b'tard.

Just what I don't need, going to sleep and waking up a semi-vegetable.

I hear you... I go to sleep a nut and wake up nuttier than the night before... Sometimes as much as 32% nuttier.

    It's rough.

Just don't be too anxious, just relax and stay focused on remaining an animal... or at worst turning into a quasi-human/insect hybrid with paranormal abilities... Maybe telekinesis or goat whispering... I meant ghost whispering... iPad made that goat whispering... I left it because it sounded funnier.

Goat whispering isn't really a paranormal ability... At least I don't think it is...

I once goat shouted, and that didn't feel very paranormal... It was really just "hey, ya stupid goat, stop gnawing on my shirt!"... Maybe that was too brief and I should go back to the goat farm and try it some more and see what happens.

I'm putting that on my list of pending important scientific experiments that don't involve science, a lot of money or importance.

But seriously... I haven't really been keeping track of this thread a lot and I guess I missed mention of your eyeball operation... So I just wanted to say good luck.

    Good luck.

It was the second "good luck" that was the actual "good luck"... The first one was just me mentioning I was gonna say it.

Now it seems like I should say it again because I muddied the whole thing up by explaining it...

Okay, here is the official one...

    Good luck.

Wonder what happens if a female halfling had an affair with a drow?  She finds out she is well expecting something that would expose the affair to her halfling husband.  What would she be expecting?
