...and you can get your very own Holy Hand Grenade here (at least to use against those vicious 3D bunnies Vicky may encounter while in a temple)

    ...I've already got one.

do i wanna watch heartbreak ridge ?

just realized i've never encountered tweed in real life.  tweed is made from sheep fur? or is it the llama fur?
would be fun to have a pet llama, if they're friendly.

bad news sort of and good news.  Bad news is that I did not get to reload my prepaid visa but good news is that I got some healthy groceries instead of going out to eat.  I think it is cheaper to get food from grocery store than to eat out once.

..hot rolled oats and Lyle's syrup with a hot cup of strong British tea was my brekkie.  Excellent on a blustry cold day lke today.  Bgugger, forgot to get rice on Friday for my stir fry tonight.  Will have to bundle up and brave the wind as well as occasional water from the sky to go to the natural market down the street.  Or, I could just stay home and make a steaming bowl of New England Clam Chowder and a toasted sannie instead. The fixings for the stir fry will be OK for another day, besides, the wind and rain will taper off tomorrow.

Big snows in the Cascades today and tonight with another 2 ft expected above 3,000'.  Will make the skiers as well as farmers on the east side of the state happy as the both depend on a good snowpack, the former for their winter recreation (as well as the small towns which benefit from them) and the latter so they have water for their crops next year.  If the long range forecasts are correct, we should see a lot of mountain snow this winter which will be a much welcome condition from the pst two years.  In the summer of 2015 even Mt. Hood was for the most part clear of any snow.  I never have seen it like that in all the years I've been here.

    (the "white" is a glacier)

Here's what it usually looks like in summer

...used to watch that show regularly. Ahhh that "futuristic year" of 1968. We were still months away from having three astronauts just circle the moon, but could send people back 56 years in time.

..and at 7$ billion, a bargain compared to the Apollo programme at the time, which by 1968 cost a total of just over 60$ billion (1960's $).

    Frogs come in colonies.

And dolphins come in schools. Maybe they need to be taught a lesson.

Night night KK, and morning world. I's Monday, so just a regular Kellog's breakfast (actually supermarket own brand), and as much strong joe as I can chew.

Talking about the future, by now we should have colonies on the moon and mars, and ships out mining the asteroids. Instead we're sitting on this ball of rock, festering in our own stink and moaning. What happened, humanity?

    Right. Work! TTFN.

Yes I must admit that is what I would have done to the ones that were in the tree outside the hotel bedroom window the last time I went to Ireland.  I know we were guests of the management, but it was a rather posh hotel.
