    I should work on my space scene if I can find it.  I thought I bought some alien plants from the Daz Store a few months ago.  Or maybe I bought some aquatic plants?  Hmm.  I can make a garden in space on the space station.

    ...was watching videos of the Long Beach (WA) kite festival that is held every August which runs an entire week. Brought back a lot of good memories.  Used to go every year. Too broke to afford it any more.  My kites haven't been in the air for around ten years. I really miss it.

    Snow, snow and more snow.  Got at least another 10 inches yesterday.  Flat roofs look like they have about 15 inches on them.  My car is almost invisible.  Just a lump in the parking lot.  Light fluffy stuff but no wind so it's not drifting.  Yet.  

    More snow coming today. sad

    The silver lining in this is that I think I'll cancel my scheduled 6 month dentist checkup without feeling guilty and I'll save $100.  See ya in the Spring doctor! laugh

    This is going to take a while. (technically, I'm down to $813 of stuff in the cart, but since I'm aiming for like, $150 tops, it's going to take a while.)

    And, an hour later, finally reaching the target purchase range. Going to have SO MUCH MORE G3M stuff when I finish installing everything.

    ...after two days of snow and ice, that big bright glowy thing in the sky was trying to show itself this morning, but clouds are thickening again . 

    Long range forecast is waffling like a bad politician. First it said 3" - 5" of snow this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, then it didn't, yesterday it did again, and now today it doesn't.

    I got the earrings I ordered from Amazon, but I think they are too big.   I want to have more than one pair in my ear and they are just too big.  I went to see if I can return them but it says that it is non returnable or something like that.  I contacted Amazon to figure out why on the product page it says free returns but I am not able to return them.  I got a hold of someone.  They said that the earrings would cost more to return them than what they are worth.  Oh dear.

    complainnnt  takin a chance on installing the 4.9.2.70

    its hanging on the cms install over 3 hours already and still hanging, even though i had a perfectly good cms running.

    Did you back things up?  I've seen people say to do that before installing the newer versions, this might be why.

    That's silly.  It's the same temperature, just expressed with a different numbering system.  It doesn't feel any colder.  It's like saying you like ice cream but wouldn't want to try crème glacée.

    ..I don't know.  Having grown up in Wisconsin, 75° just sounds a lot warmer than 24°

    It's only down to 20F  (-6C) here this morning but we do have about 2 feet of snow.  Elsewhere in the county, up on the "ridges" they've got 3 feet or more.  This county is right in the middle of that purple patch at the end of the red arrow.
