Complaint:  My car is buried in snow/ice.  crying  Tried to dig it out yesterday and had to quit after getting the hood (bonnet), windshield, and passenger side door cleaned off.  So much snow around the car that I can't get close to it without walking in wet snow up to my knees.  Can't get to rear of car, nor can I get driver's side door opened without moving about 800 pounds of wet snow.  And to top it off, my snow shovel is safely stored in the car's trunk (boot).  That's the last time I park the car in that orientation. frown  I was making slow progress using my broom but had to quit when my heart started going wonky. sad  May need to hire an entrepreneuring youngster. enlightened $$sad

Do they clear the roads there?

Yes, very nicely in fact.  However, they don't come up the driveway and around behind the house and clean out your parking spot. sad I've ended up with the spot right next to the wall and trees and I last parked so that the driver's side door is next to the wall and the back of the car is against the rear wall of the parking spaces.  Snow has filled in all around the car.  Tons of snow and no place to throw it.  I do OK with a broom but with my heart being so wonky this year, I'm sure if I actually start trying to use the shovel they'll find me like the "Ice Man" next spring. surprise

hopefully in time for the spring New York Fashion Week ;)

No, it would have broken his contract with Warner Brothers.  Tweety had top billing.

They tried that with the Tootsie-Pop owl.  They let him have his way and we never did get to see how many licks were required to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop.

I spent two hours looking for some old documents on my hard disk.  I placed them a folder called "art".  I thought only my digital drawings were in the art folder.  laugh  I should move the documents to the folder named "My Documents".

My filing system is very simple.  I have a folder labled "Misc." and put everything in it and never throw anything away.  Admittedly it's sometimes hard to find things again, but I know where it is! devil  Have I ever mentioned that I have 20 years of archived email, "just in case". frown

I tend to prefer ice coffee or ice tea. I try to make it the night before and put it in the freezer until morning.  All it has to do is warm up to a drinkable status and I get ice coffee or tea cool for the day.

Don't worry, he won't drink much.

Actually, I have that problem quite often.  Well, at least two or three times each year.  Big ol' Daddy Longlegs spiders.  Teeny-weeny bodies but great long legs.  They come out of the exhaust fan above the shower.  Sometimes I don't discover them until in the middle of my shower I turn around and stare them in the eyes.  I have two, they have several, so it's a confusing state of affairs.  We have a brief discussion which always ends in them going down the drain.

    http://mentalfloss.com/article/59455/15-fascinating-facts-about-daddy-longlegs

Spiders used to bother me until I started believing the saying that in your whole life you're hardly ever more than 5 feet away from a spider.  (but they're usually on the other side of a barrier or so small you can't see them.)

...more frozen water from the sky today. Started around 13:00 and will keep up all evening with about 5" expected. The good thing this time it is the dry powdery kind and will end after midnight when it is still cold so no freezing rain this time. Will post some pics when I get home.

so i was thinkin about next story.  the ole in retrospect trope.
like my favorite badass space pirate character (harr),
if i introduce and even badder space pirate captain, in retrospect,
1st badass space pirate character would be more sympathetic.

i think was dr.mccoy who said, ebil will triumph unless good is very very careful..

    ...

cant think of a moral for the story that hasnt been overdone.  leaning towards, just cause you have the technology, doesnt mean you should,

Depends on the artist and the state of the transition.  Some do, some don't, but most of the Googled images I could find did have tails if one would have been visible.  Personally, I like my fetish creature's bums unadorned.

Most of the tail-less werewolves I could find were facing the camera and the tail wasn't obvious.  However, I'm pretty sure that Lon Chaney's werewolf character in the 1940s era movies didn't have a tail.  Just head and hands makeup and perhaps some chest hair and feet if they had a bigger budget.

    Fantasy fetishes are fickle. wink
