"mimic pro (32bit standalone) still available at toolfarm.com.
buy it there, daz3d 'delivers' it. $49. it's
legit, odd way to get it, but legit."

    Ahh!!! I see my mistake
I did not click the little blue bullet point
next to mimic pro stand alone..apologies

This is good to know to refer others in the future thanks!!yes

"a bit dated, but pretty powerful capabilities.
may take some tinkering to get g2,"
G3 or G8 working. others may have tips.

More powerful with more options than anything
Daz offers, including mimic live, which I own also

For Genesis 2 all one needs is a one time export to a poser CR2
and load that CR2 in the session manager

mimic pro 3 will ask for the .obj file of the CR2 so you may as well export
a base res, default .obj of G2 to an easy to find location.

On the matter of G3/G8 I have no advice on getting them to work with
mimic 3 pro with that bloody face rig buggering  things up

However they work fine with mimic live but that has its own limitations.

The only reason I will bother with with G3 is because I really want the
uber masculine, alpha male, Ivan Character for the G3 male  in my film project
    and he will be speaking.

Alas if there was an easy way to push the Ivan/pavel morphs backward
to the G2 male, I would do that and not bother with the hassle of animating
    G3 at all .
