i don't think a gui tool will work, will prolly have to manage it texty directly in the cr2 file.

..again, more trouble than it's worth.

I'd be better off loading her into Marvelous Designer and creating dynamic clothing from scratch.

10:15AM in sunny and cool Austin, a balmy 55f right now, heading towards 72f or so. :)

Today is WRITING DAY!!! I have my classical music playlist on (18 hours of it) and Scrivener up on the writing machine, coffee water heating and soon I'll be cooking brekky! :cheese:

Will play some guitar later on, once my writing has reached a good point (if I don't just end up writing all day). Or maybe I'll try to stick a corset on Mike (heh).

I hope everyone is having a great day! Stay safe and happy!

    *swims off to Ravel's "Bolero"*

Bo Derek's music from '10' movie? i think, maybe, hd scr'ch

It's an excellent classical piece, ruined by Bo Dereks involvement. :blank: :blank:

    ..I agree.

Though it was perfect for the third segment of the animated film Allegro Non Troppo.

    Complaint:

I should be writing. Not playing music, not doing visual arts, just writing. Not distracting myself with the ten thousand things..

    JUST
    FREAKING
    WRITING

now, how in hell am I going to slap some sense into my self? I need a Muse, I suspect.

There goes the rest of this year in a search for transcendent inspiration. Well, honestly, it's about time. Can't avoid the inevitable forever.

Open a vein and bleed words into the paper, maybe someone else can make sense of it all.

Sigh. At least I got bubble wrap, damn UPS store didn't have a good shipping box. Office Depot run!

    Two complaints:
    1. I was not receiving notices for this thread...really tired of that happening.
    2. PC newsletter came in...with a link to the new PC freebie...but the link goes to the main forum menu page. And I can't find the topic in Members Only, or The Commons (even though it shouldn't be there anyway, I thought I'd give it a try). New releases doesn't have what is mentioned. When will they get it together?

For once I have an actual, serious complaint.

On Sunday, 3rd of February, we found out that our longtime friend had died; I had known him for nearly two decades (and I regard him as my initial Linux mentor, without whom I would not have a job in IT); my Significant Otter, my brother-in-law and my other friend, they had known him since childhood (four decades), let alone the huge local sci-fi fan community who had known him as well.

11th of January. He was buried by his family on 2nd of February.

They never told us. We found out this when someone called one of the friends, and told that the regional newspaper had his obituary. He was slightly reclusive and heavily immersed in his tech-related work, and long bouts of no-communication weren't unusual.

They never told us, because their "user's guide to life" told -- according to their bizarre, distorted interpretation -- that we're not "proper people who know their place" and went as far as calling some of the friends as "disfigured, unholy spawns of the Enemy". According to them, we "ruined" him with improper thoughts, tolerance and university-level education. Which shows how poorly his parents knew him.

What gets me is this incredible pettiness from his parents, that kept us away from saying goodbye to our friend.

What really gets me is that right now this XKCD comic strip is true for him.

Goodbye, Timo. I will miss you dearly.

"Sleepy Rae. The idea for this came from a conversation. He was working on the image on the ground, but was too tired to finish it today and took a nap.
Then I came over to show him some car models I bought and found him like this. "

i imagine with all the upheaval of moving, writing trance would be difficult.

maybe something more relaxing to calm your mind first?

I am at the library and I forgot reading glasses. I picked up the book I had requested months ago. It finally came in. I checked that out and renew two books.

No you do not need a muse, you just need to place your fingers on the keys and start writing.

    RIGHT NOW!

Impressed with #4. What is this inverse square setting you speak of?

    Meh...
Don't think I'll ever finish this one. Got halfway into it before tiredness and frustration set in, and it was all I could do to just barely get it to this much and not just exit the program alltogether >_<<br /> I doubt I'll ever be able to salvage this either... Better to just start from scratch V_V
