the idea behind #one, they're 9 -to- 5 professional historians and each gate goes to a different time period.

#two idea was a space station for dragons to freshen up

#3 was reflection experiments with 20 rt bounces

#4 was lights with the inverse square setting

Impressed with #4. What is this inverse square setting you speak of?

it's in the light properties - attenuation options. introduced in p8.

A heating pad across the lower back will work wonders - it warms the kidneys and therefore the blood, sort of like a car radiator in reverse.

But chicken soup sounds a lot more appetizing... :)

Oh, Poser...I thought it was something in DS. I have Poser Pro 2010, so I'll have to look for that the next time I open it up.

OK the Daz Installation Manager is available by invitation. (I have been invited) So far the app's acronym seems apt to me because I'm afraid to try it and appear too dim myself to understand the instructions. I'm going to have to give myself some time to absorb this as I appear to be running on the human equivalent of a TI-55. :)
Edit: Maybe this should gone in the Stupid Thread.

I'm not sure I want to try it. Once again, it's beta! If it's been tested by so many and they all think it's great, why is it still a beta?

Anyway, there's a lot of confusion about it. Some folks don't do well with video tutorials, and that doesn't help the situation much.

Weird, I have trouble understanding video tutorials but no problems with Wendy's videos.

Video tutorials are, IMHO, a pain in a butt. I'm one of those who learns better by reading.

That said, the invitation came, and it is not that painful to use, IMHO. Put in your user account, define where you want things installed, log in, download, install; you may want to check out filtering options for stuff you don't need.

OR, you can just use it to download the goods and do manual install yourself by unzipping the zips.

OR, you can still do manual downloads, or use Taozen's tool.

I just like the fact that it notifies me that stuff has been updated.

I managed to get a little bit of art done before passing out from sleepyness last night. Still trying to be funneh in my drawings too.
Mm... I submitted it before heading in to bed around 6:20PM and when I woke up just a few hours ago, I was quite surprised at how much attention it got overnight o3o

DeviantART it snatched up 39 favorites and 265 views, and on FurAffinity it grabbed 36 favorites and 232 views.

Mm... I didn't have time to shade it before I got too tired to continue on. I should try to shade it soon.
As for the picture itself, it spawned from an idea where two snakes were discussing something, and one of the two had a big bulge in his stomach. He told his friend that he got into an argument with someone else, and one thing led to another, and he ended up eating something that didn't agree with him =P

We're at a chilly 12F with snow coming down

Just yesterday it was sunny and warm here. So much so I was temped to work on my tan. A wee bit of a chill put a kabosh on those plans today though.

    Don't hate me. ;-)

Beach weather coming up for us I think, warm and sunny right now and no smoke in the sky for a change :)

no smoke is good smoke. :)

beach sounds so wonderful. especially with beach-towel-side umbrella drink service.

    Today's complaints!

    - It's not Friday

Been out of work so long, one day is the same as another. I am unaware of some holidays, too, until I hear about them on the news.

    - Eyes kind of burning

    Mine, too.

    - Slept off and on and off and on and blech

That's normal for me the past several years. I used to sleep like a rock. I'd drop off pretty quick and nothing woke me. Not anymore.

    - It's hard to get rid of stuff when you keep thinking you could find a use for it.. someday..maybe..

    I agree.

    - Coffee tastes bleh today

Always my opinion. Juice with breakfast, Dr. Pepper with supper. Coffee milk late at night. Maybe I should stop that last one.

    - Need my head examined

    Perhaps me, too.

    New complaint! ARGH!

Looks like I'll have to move in March back to the front house (but the big bedroom).. the property owner lost money due to the fire and insurance not covering as much as they hoped, so she's taking over the back house from my landlady and will be using it as a rental vacation home/bed and breakfast/short-term money maker. Can't really blame her, there's more money in that than renting out to little old me (and I can't afford the whole darn back house anyway).

This blows because I "get" to move again, but thankfully it's all of 20 yards (heh) so it's not a huge PITA. Thankfully I'm in the process of dumping a lot of stuff to simplify my life, so I'll have a lot less to move when the time comes.

Making lemonade out of lemons, less stuff and a slightly smaller place will encourage me to focus on my writing. ;-P

This also encourages me to continue my switch from attempting to be a one-man band to just solo guitar and vocals. Within the mount I should be down to 2 guitars, one effects pedal, one multitrack recorder, and a mic and mic stand.. my entire studio should fit on a TV table! I might drop back to just 2 computers, as well.. the tablet PC and the i5 machine.. since I don't need the computer for my music except to convert it to MP3 for uploading, and I can start a render and run my writing software at the same time.

Anyway, feh. :blank: meh :blank: bah! :blank:
