Complaint: flu most of the weekend, flu Monday, flu Tuesday. Still feeling off today but at work.

    Blech, blech, blech!

Coffee time.. might help me feel less blecherous and cantankerous..

some of the campbells chickie soup?

I have Campbells Chunky Chicken Noodle, it's going to be lunch! :)

I feel a LOT better today than I did Saturday, no fever, just tired.. but I'm earning money even tired so I'm happy-ish. Only going to get 23 hours in this week, but February rent is already in the bank so it's not a big deal.

Gotta save for that i7 monster machine!

Complaint: I think I need a haircut. I don't like getting a haircut. A stranger has to touch me all over my head, which seems both intimate and cold at the same time. Just feels creepy.
Probably not the average human reaction to a haircut.
Question: I don't consider myself to be above average, below average, or average. But what else is there?

    Abbie Normal?

OK, I found Alt Codes List. there were many others, but this seemed sufficient.

    I ♥ Google! :-)

To get that heart, I held down the Alt key and pressed the 3 key on the numeric keypad.
To get your accented e, é, hold down the Alt key and type 130 on the numeric keypad. When you release the Alt key, the character appears. But look at the chart, bookmark it, and you'll have a reference for many others at your fingertips!

    kewl. thanks.

    Non-complaint:

Devouring a delightfully decadent sweet bun. Finnish sweet bun, cut into half horizontally, the bottom is lightly hollowed out and filled with raspberry jam and whipped cream. Self-made, of course. MMMMMMMMM! So GOOD!

the kanji for 'sakura' - 'cherry blossom'. Sakura Diaries yayy.

so i see the tree kanji, so if 'ki' is tree, there is no 'ki' sound in 'sakura'.

oh. okay, there is a list of 1,006 kanji to learn by 6th grade. so, i can concentrate on those. then i should be able to read 6th grade manga. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyōiku_kanji

I am a fish, but a magic one - the Great Wooly Loach! :bug: :bug:

I can come out of the water and turn into a human being, at least in appearance. ;-) That's how I earn money and use the computer.

The i7 I want is weeks away, even if I save like crazy. Sigh...

I just checked the weather forecast. The high temperature for the next few days will be in the mid 20s and the winds will be 15-20 MPH. It will be cold until Monday. Its too cold for me to deposit cash at my bank or ATM. Now I know how people in the northern plains or the U.S.A. and Canada feel. I want to move south now. lol

My DVD drive works fine after I cleaned it. I can play DVDs with VLC. Interview WinDVD player takes 25 seconds to load. I might need to reinstall Interview WinDVD.

I'm almost finished copying files to my external hard drive. Nothing else exciting is going on.

yayy, Stop&Shop; has the King Arthur all purpose unbleached flour.

the 2 stores i checked don't have single brand of cake flour. from ehow, it says for every cup of all purpose flour take away 2 tblspoons of flour and add 2 tblspoons of cornstarch to make cake flour. and sift. i don't have a sifter, i've been using a whisk to blend everything.

I have thrown out all the shoes that were not originally mine. the house lady wants me to throw out zebra print shoes or something with zebra print. I have nothing with zebra print. I only have three pairs of shoes. A white tennie pair, a black tennie pair, and a blue flipflop pair.

I was not happy that the House lady made me throw out those shoes, but I did not do anything to fight against her. From what I understand, the shoes used to belong to another client. House lady had a hissy fit and threw some of the client's shoes and shirts away. I do not think the house lady had any right to do that.

Another thing that happened the other day, the house lady woke my roommate and I at three am to do a closet search. I am already suffering from insomnia so that was not good for me. Also what was she doing awake at three am and worrying about some missing articles of clothing of hers. She thinks I might be responsible for the missing clothes because some of my clothes was found in her hamper. The hamper is in front of the washer but behind the dryer. They must have dropped while I was putting the clothes from the washer into the dryer.

I do not steal from someone's clothes hamper. I know that someone wants them instead of nobody wants them. Also why would I leave some of my clothes into her hamper if I was trying to steal from her.

Yeah I took the shoes out of the garbage, but I thought once it is in the garbage, no one owns them. Also the shoes and shirts reminded me of all the stuff I lost when I moved to this state. I was evicted and I could not save everything. It was amazing I could get anything out of there.

I have no reason to take some clothes in a hamper that is not mine. I do not take stuff that is being used by someone else. House lady has asked twice to look in my car for lost items. WTF? She does not understand me at all. Also her logic seems screwed, specially the clothes in her hamper. Also she does not seem to understand why I took those shoes.

I am so thirsty. It is due to my mouth always being dry. I am at the library and I can get up and go to the water fountain. That much water would just help me a little. I need a cup of water next to me and the library rules state that no drinks or foods are allowed in the library.

I think one of my medicines is causing me to have a dry mouth.

I cough a bit but cough drops do not work any more. It just gives my mouth a bad taste but I still cough. Mum has found a type of lozenges that do not give me the bad taste.

Well, I keep looking at Vue, but after spending a few days thinking (nothing else to do when you're down with the flu_ it stopped making any sense. I'm never going to make any money off my 3D stuff, it's just a more or less relaxing hobby and a way to try to realize some scenes I see in my head (and indulge my weird penchant for putting Vicky into difficult situations).

On my old Pentium T4400 system, Bryce was unbearably slow. The i5 is twice as fast CPU-wise with far better graphics, and I haven't run Bryce on it to see how it performs.. sooooooooo.. it's time! :cheese:

Gigabytes of stuff downloading.. I'm grabbing all my old Bryce content too. :red: Gonna back to back it all up when I'm done! :cheese:

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting I have Bryce 7 pro and Carrara 8. I need to use them. I have been using 2012 and DS4.5.

Does Carrara have the thing that allows one to paint on the model? I think Zbrush has it and I recently made sure that my copy is up to date.

I'm envious. We've had nothing but snow all day. It's about minus five outside (that's celcius, not fahrenheit) and as icy as my freezer. Suffice to say, I'm staying in where it's warm and cosy for the forseeable future.

Hope you are in the area that it is eight am. I tried googling Australia time and got some eight thirty something am and also some five thirty some times.

Hope you drink enough water to keep you from getting dehydrated in the hotness of the day. I tend to get dehydrated as I do not always drink enough water.

My home has well water but I do not like the taste. I am picky about my water. No ice. I prefer room temperature water verses fridge temperature water. Some people think I am weird for not wanting ice in my drinks. I hate ice as they tend to get the drink too cold and/or too water downed.

My mum mentioned she heard on tv that the temperature is going to be in the thirties. She thought that was silly as she grew up in Wisconsin, where the highs are single digits.
