I know what you mean, but good for a reference.

I wouldn't pay $40 for a hat for myself, heck that's almost £25 in our currency.

Here's one with it fit to M4 and a start on a texture set. An emblem is being built now...

    Into the home stretch.

The badge on this is just a place holder. I should have the 'real' one done tonight...and maybe a chin strap.

Right now it isn't 'propified', but it will be smart-propped to M4.

The current texture is a set of tweed shaders Fisty put out a while ago, but I'll have a 'free and clear' texture done in a couple of hours.

And here is the render with the actual badge...all that remains is packing it up, with textures.

    Perfect timing :D

I'll be done with the rest of the scene soon, too. Once I can add the hat, I can send it off to the author for feedback :D

Still waiting for feedback from the author, but here is the result of my previous request ...

Now, I need an Amish bonnet. All of the ones I am finding are pioneer or period. I need a modern Amish bonnet for V4 in DS4.6. Ideas?

Still no luck finding an Amish cap/bonnet.

I sooo need to learn how to model ... lol.

This is the style I need, preferably for V4 DS4.6:

Well, I can't finish this book cover without one. I.ve tried every other bonnet out there and am having no luck adjusting or tweeking to my needs, lol.

I'll just work on other aspects of the image until it's ready. :D

Can the back portion be a little bigger, or rather higher than the front, to allow room for hair and to be able to be seen in a forward facing pose?

Like the ones, attached, if I am seeing them right. Or maybe morphs, for different needs? Of course, I'll be ecstatic with whatever I get and will make do. :D I can always attack it with the deformer tool. I've at least figured that tool out, lol. It doesn't need textured because I plan to use a shader, anyway, to match her dress, unless you think it needs one for when you post it somewhere.

I need a ww2 era bulldozer. It doesn't need to do much but sit in the scene. Any takers?

I still need a bain for a book cover I am working on. It looks to me like a bamboo stick which baskets and packages can be hung. I'd prefer a basket style like the top photo, above. Any takers?

You really should learn a modeling app, LOL.

I know, right? But they all are so confusing for me and I just don't have time to learn a complex software. Too many deadlines.

I can use any old staff, but I can't find any packages or baskets like in the top image. So all I really need is a basket with 'stuff', like in the photo. It's for a WWII historical fiction.

Usual queries - are both sides of the blade sharp (ie A and B)? Or is the sword intended to cut only with the A side (and B is a "solid" flat spine).

Also is the hook at the end (ie C) pointed and bladed and intended to be used for striking/cutting? Or is it more of a blunt "guard" for the hand? (and convenient for hanging the sword from a peg in the wall ^_^).

    Looking awesome so far :D

All I have for reference is this sketch sent by the author, so I guess we get to make the decisions, lol.

I'd say, other than adding some straps on the hilt for me to apply a leather shader to, I'd say it's finished :D

Question: I was going to attempt to make my first Hex model on my own, but I couldn't figure out how to load the sketch into Hex, like I can to the bg of DS. I see, however, that you have. How?

Although I must say, you did it much better and faster than I could have, lol.

Another question: Will the blade show the A edge once a metal shader is applied? Or do I need to shade the sharp edge separately from the dull edge?
