For my sword modelers out there, who's in the mood to create a unique sword for a book cover project?
Here's the description:
Dragon Sword description from the book:
This is an excerpt where Willoe first sees the sword.
The scabbard itself was a dark blue, almost black, metal looking rather than wood covered in leather. There were raised gold runes that ran from the Cross-guard to the point. The gold chape over the point and the locker just below the Cross-guard were engraved with a winged dragon in red.
She ran her eyes over it for a minute before focusing on the Grip and Pommel. The Grip was metal, again not leather, possibly silver and was engraved with what looked like scales larger towards the Pommel and smaller as the Grip ran down to the Cross-guard. But what held her eyes was the Pommel. It looked to be the same material as the grip, but with an ornament on the end that had Willoe holding her breath. The end had four dragon heads, across from each other, pointing outward in four different directions. Their heads ran into one body just above the grip with four small triangular tails pointing out. It looked like four dragon heads with one body. The detail with which the dragons were engraved was something she had never seen before. All four were beautiful and savage at the same time.
The metal shined brilliantly. It took Willoe a moment to really see the blade. The Cross-guard looked like dragon wings. Her eyes followed the sword from the Pommel to the Grip, down to the Cross-guard and then just below the Rain guard, to a symbol, an engraved winged dragon in red. She continued to follow the blade down and just past the halfway point between the Forte and the Foible was a long stretched out winged dragon, in black.
Please let me know if you wish to adopt this and about how long you think it will take and private message me with whatever compensation you'd need. :D
Thanks :D
Still looking for a modeler for the above-described sword. Compensation being offered :D
Thought I'd recycle the request earlier in the day, hoping different eyes may see it :D
Still looking for someone interested in creating the above sword.
Need a tiny, working, hinge for small things like pocket watches or tiny boxes. Examples: https://www.bing.com/images/search?&q=small+hinges+for+small+boxes&qft=&FORM=R5IR
It's been a while, everyone. I try to keep all of my requests for 'stuff' in one thread so I can find the links to them again later and it's a helpful reminder as to who provided what when others ask me, "who made that?"
Today, I need a better-looking baldric than I am currently finding available. It will be, ideally, used on M4 and it's for a book cover project. So far, the majority I'm finding on the search engines are too pirate-fantasy-ish. It's going to be part of a sci-fi flight suit uniform, so not very piratey. Less ornate, like this, but will be holding a katana:
Any takers? Let me know if you are going to need compensation, too. Not out to cheat anybody :)
Xurge3D has something they call Adventure Leather M4. That could be close. And if you own "wear-them-all" from DAZ, you could use it on other figures.
I like the outfit, but the shoulder belt doesn't go down to the hip to convincingly hold a katana.
But looking around that site, the Imperator M4 may be modifyable. I'm kinda liking the look of the Weapons and Harness for Fantasy Ranger for M4, too, even though it's not a baldric. I may need to dig out my diform tab and mess around.
Hello, my Daz friends.
I've seen outfits inspired by Legend of the Seeker characters, but naturally, they are not named after the show for copyright reasons making it hard to find them on a site search. Anybody know the main characters I'm talking about?
PM me the links if to another store.
Thanks :)
