No problem. Hopefully the support team won't give you any trouble with adding the other figures to your account. I've had to contact support several times before and they've always been helpful in the past for things like that - so hopefully you won't have any issues. :)
I'm just glad to see the initial release includes at least a few medieval outfits and Spock ears and wings and stuff. I assume/hope that very soon we'll see the mandatory G8 male monsters, dragons, fairies, sorcery, zombies, aliens, centaurs, and medieval knights and sword fighters with axes and stuff.
I bought him but the free figures weren't added. :/ So I sent a message to sales...
Also I tried the basic clothes, the shirt is mixed up with the shorts (poke-away, right ?). Hope it won't do the same with further clothes... Looks like a recurrent problem on many clothes though.
When I bought V8 they added V5 to my account automatically later since I forgot to have her at cart without the need to contact anyone so we'll see.
Orpheus you might wanna check the item for some kind of adjustment morphs for the problematic area.

Does having M4 count toward the discount for anyone? Or is it only M5, M6, and M7?
Poke thru has never been a problem in Studio for me with the collision detection that you can set for any mesh. Pretty awesome. You may have to crank up the iterations, but I've never had a situation where it didn't work.
I don't think he looks bad at all. He looks like I would expect DAZ 3D figures to look.
And you have your typical skimp armor, too. :)
The Basic Wear for G8M doesn't seem to be made very well, IMO. There usually isn't a big issue with poke through, particularly not with newer figure clothes. But these issues are not normal. Even with Smoothing and Collision, I'm still getting poke through:
Again, that's just not normal. There seems to be an issue.
Personally, I'd recommend for any serious poke thru issues that people consider a cloth sim like VWD. Not only it fixes the poke thru, but makes the clothing drape far more naturally.
Using the starter essentials only, but mine's looking ok with no poke through.
Still, I have no intention of moving up from G3M for the time being - I can't really see anything about him that takes my breath away.
In another post on page 2 of this thread it was mentioned that possibly V4 didn't count for the g8f Pro bundle, so likely M4 doesn't either. Haven't seen an official Daz reply yet to confirm either way.
OMG! Michael 8's eyebrows are perfect! I've been looking for NATURAL straight thick brows like that for blonde boys for a long time. Michael 8 is love at first site, So much more excited about this launch compare to V8.
I'm so sad that GenX2 will never be updated for Genesis 8 series.

During the V8 sale, they did not give V4 for free, though, did they? I may be wrong.
I own the pro bundles for M4, M5 (also through Carrara), and M7. So I technically should be getting 30% off. But given I've got to be dilligent and save up for a convention next month... probably best I don't have that temptation right now.
i need to know this too. because of the amazing promo details of TODAY, i.e. ALL other Michael pro bundles which i don't have afaik, i might even risk my monthly very frail budget equilibrium and splurge the 94$ (plus 40$ to get a new debit card :( ) just to enjoy the incredible galore. means eating rice & noodles for the rest of the month but i'd finally have dem bundles ^^
but i only get payday TOMORROW, and live about 8h ahead in europe, which means that i'd have to queue in front of the shop first thing early in the morning, and even then i'm not sure i can make it since card would be new and those things always bug plus they need some time to load $ into the account.
i'd say that limiting this awesome promotion to exactly, only 1 day would be very unfair to many customers - not only the broke ones like me, but anyone who can't access daz for a day due to whatever reason, being sick, traveling, having a telecom failure etc., hence directly favoriting only customers who have plenty of $ to splurge (hence not the ones needing this kind of promo most!) and an impeccable net access...
I'm not sure about V4 being free either during the G8F promotion. I'm also chasing around the different threads while downloading my purchased G8M content and seeing M8 popping up everywhere. Waiting to see when the head, body and expression morphs will hit the store, they are a bit late. Maybe they're getting some last minute extra tweaking...ha ha.
The V8 deal lasted much longer than 1 day, so I think you will be okay to wait until your payday.

Ahh Divamakeup, you have smoothing switched to off.
I forgot about the free bundles when I checked out, but then I thought "I already own them all." However when I look at them, only Michael 6 and Michael 7 show purchased. I checked my purchase history and my Michael 5 bundle is called "Michael 5 pro suite". I guess the "suite" is why it thinks I don't own it. But when I click on each item, they all say purchased. The suite bundle actually looks like it contains some extra items as well.
I thought I owned Michael 4 pro too. But when I click on each item, I see a few items that I apparantly don't own. But nothing that I desperately want. Of course if I had known, I probably would have thrown it in the cart. But then...according to some posts about... the DazOriginals PC+ discount probably wouldn't have worked.

Actually, I would have waited if it wasn't for the free Michael bundles - I only had Michael 7, and my library is definitely lacking in male clothes and hair, so getting M4, 5, and 6 free along with 8 was the hook that got me.

I have all the Michael Pro bundles (I got M5 with Carrara.) The banner only shows I own 2. Hopefully they'll correct that. It says the deal runs till August 31, so plenty of time for paydays, which is really good. I think he looks great and I love his eyebrows. Can't wait to see more expressions and morphs. And like someone else said, bring on the centaurs, monsters, and other cool add-ons! Woohoo! G8M playtime!
I like him and I like the selection in the bundle too. Great clothing and not the usual pirate / barbarian stuff. The only thing I missed was a handsome coloured man. But I suppose he's waiting behind a corner somewere.

Im waiting to see if the head and body morph packs appear in the store today so I can plan out what to get along with/in addition to the pro bundle and some of the other offerings .
I am most definitely going to get the pro bundle but I really want those morphs so that I can get creative with the figure.
in my opinion the head and body morph packs are absolutely required.
