Yep - just came out last week. Lots of cool new stuff, including a certain amount of mesh manipulation.

Poser Pro 2014 it ain't, but for a free 3D app, the sucker has plenty of power to spare! :bug:

I'll have to reinstall all my fancy plugins now.. urgh. Gives me something to do, I guess, until it's time to shop for vodka and bbq! :)

i've lost all my pp14 upgrade fervor.

when i heard they added a fitting room it gave me half a hope they got rid of the content paradise browser.

'plaint cp room. it just makes them seem desperate for money.

i don't want subdivision, i want real curves.
    and caustics.
and a joint setup room with screen text i can read without a magnifier.
and dynamic hair with keyframe-able guide hairs.

Hee hee! Some bbq sauces have booze, mostly whiskey, though. This is for sipping! :)

Yeah, there's lots of cool stuff, but still some missing bits that are annoying. :-S

I don't need 90% of what's there just to do book covers and illustration, soooo.. gonna save the money for a vacation! :)

I own CrossDresser so I'm not too worried about fitting room stuff.

Argh need more coffee while the metadata database in Advanced Library Manager runs.. :-S

I don't know if I'm tripping, but DS4.6 seems to render even faster now. I know they moved to the newest 3Delight.. hmmph.

Sucker is stable and usable even on this laptop. :bug: :bug:

I admit, I'm kind of impressed. :blank:

    Shower time! :)

Mmmmmm Jack Daniels bbq sauce :cheese: And Bacardi is good in diet Coke.

Yeah, "Beta Tester" is something I'm too lazy to go though again.
I'm waiting for those those magic words "General Release". :)

Mm well got no suggestions for Flash / Python resources, but I went ahead and bought two books on Python that were published relatively recently.

Also a friend showed me this picture. (Being the owner of a royal python himself, he said just how true the second picture fit them xD)

Very cute :3... I guess the top one is an Anaconda, or a Cobra? (*absolutely no snakey nous whatsoever... other than to Stay Away from 'em... mostly super-poisonous brown snakes around here >_>... <_<...*)</p>

The top one is supposed to represent the common image of what a Python is - not a cobra or viper or etc :3

The bottom image is what real pythons are like (Evidentaly used a Royal Python as the example)

Morning. Sunday morning here, a little past midnight. Been horizontal for days. Where did April go? Feel kinda weird from all the meds I guess but not burning up any more. Usually pretty robust so getting that sick was surprising, unwelcome, totally eeow. I knew the stuff coming out of my nose was from outer space, green and funny looking  Everything seems on the mend now, feels strange to have been so bleh for so long, like waking out of a bad dream

Any suggestions for stuff to learn (or help learn) Flash?

    I did find these...
    http://www.amazon.com/AdvancED-Game-Design-Flash-Spuy/dp/1430227397/
    http://www.digitaltutors.com/tutorial/749-Flash-for-Games

Unfortunately every book I find is out-of-date - usually by several years.

    Learn HTML5 instead. Really.

Thought I would let you know that Im quite ill right now, some ugly bacteria got into my sinuses and had a party heh, prolly when I hit an oily patch of surf a coupla weeks ago. Docs tell me Im on the mend, temp is down and eyes seem to be working again. Back as soon as I can :) Well double post not my fault, the site seems very flakey with a slow connection from where I am

Get well soon! (Whoa! Deja vu...)

    Hehe Koala cuteness :)

Looks like the rain has mostly cleared up, so I should be in good shape for going home. :)

Either going to shop tomorrow or go out for wings and beer, if I shop, wings and beer on Sunday! :cheese:

After my b-day, it's time to sit n save - need to get a Core i7 box with a 17in screen, Poserizing on my little screen is a pain in the beck (literally). :blank: I guess I could get a micro-PC/keyboard/monitor and just sell the keyboard and monitor when I move, that might end up working out better than a laptop if I want to stick with doing 3D work. Hmmph.

Everything needs to fit in backpack + rolling duffel bag. I've seen some killer shoebox PCs that have 32G of RAM, an NVidia card, and a quad core i7! Not cheap, but nor is a killer laptop. Hmmph again.

Gotta save up for a trip to New Orleans as well! Never been, wanna goooooooooooooo!

Oh noes missed your birthday. Happy Birthday :) Have you seen the raspberry pi http://www.raspberrypi.org/faqs ?
