... i was clinging to the hair prop, re-rendered this several times. anyhoos, finally got to play with Aiko 5.

Perhaps you should consider letting it go, and let it render in peace? ;-)

    Non-complaint! Allie Brosh is back!

Allie is the brilliant mind behind Hyperbole and Half blog (plus mother of X all the Y! meme), and she just returned from 19 month hiatus.

She also explained why she was on hiatus.

And she did it by explaining depression better than anyone in the world ever has done. (Well, IMHO and all that. FYI, it can be a bit rough read due to subject matter as she doesn't shy away from the self-destructive aspects either, so be prepared for that.)

So if you feel like she describes, and have people who just don't get it, direct them to that post and tell them to read it with care. Several healthcare professionals have posted in comments that they're going to pass the post around in their workplaces in order to facilitate better understanding from a patient's point of view.

To anyone who has depression (like I do, and I fully relate to what she wrote)...

I'm sorry that your fish are like super-duper dead. But it doesn't matter, I still like you. You're my piece of corn. (This makes sense if you read the post.)

...when Leela is taken in by Lady Megan Grande earlier in the story, she is 17. This scene takes place about three and a half years later. During that time a lot of challenges and changes occur. While she is still childlike in her outlook and in the way she expresses herself, down deep she has become a very sensible and responsible young lady who cares deeply for those whom she refers to as the "little ones".

...yes, she will make a fine "momma".

i'm dressed for work, but feel crappie. Seriously considering reversing time order to wrap up in a blankie and go back to sleep. on the other hand will mean losing another day's pay. but feel crappie.

    Heh, it's okay~

It was intended to be a humorous picture where the three heads were feeding at a river and one got careless and accidentally grabbed its companion :P

I'm sorry that you don't like it though.

Well I'm sure that they could help a companion that was choking on something by doing this XD

However in this picture - as mentioned above - it was an accident :)

Mm... I guess I'll just refrain from posting any more drawings. Stick to 3D stuff from now on =/

My brother (my only sibling) and I visited with our Mom at the nursing home yesterday. Always a bittersweet time. He and I had a nice lunch afterward. My bro lives in Middle Tennessee, Mom and I in East Tennessee.
Mom has Alzheimer's, and is very dysphasic now. She knew us, though. But other times...

I'm the beard on the right.

Complaint: Crappie World is about right! :bug:

Digestive system going haywire today, and all I had last night was a grilled chicken salad. Major sleep loss, but I couldn't take the day off as they're making a pre-production manufacturing run of the product I did the software for and I have to be here in case something goes Horribly Wrong(tm).

It's raining, and while we need the rain badly it makes getting around hard as the walking boot on my broken foot isn't anywhere near waterproof and will fill with water if I'm out in it for too long. :blank: That would mean a cab home and no shopping, which means reheating leftovers for dinner when I really wanted a burger made with cheese!

    Feh, just.. feh.

Non-complaint: the boss is out all next week, and I got a cool new project to work on that's kind of a low-priority thing so it should be a nice, quiet, but still productive week next week.

Total mega non-complaint happy thing: I'm off work May 17, 20, and 21 for MY 54th BIRTHDAY! :cheese: My fave dancer of all time is working the 17th so that's going to be my major party, the 20th (my birthday) I'm going to feast all day on wings and beer, and chat online with all my friends across the globe! The 21st I spend all day in bed, recovering (lolol)!

I am saddened to hear that, Rezca. A good mother or father is a precious thing. It is an unending heartbreak to lose them.
My Father passed away over six years ago. He will always be in my heart. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him.
    Hugs for you.
