I forgot to add that we had one helluva time getting back into the U.S. This vacation was after 911 and we didn't know we were not supposed to take pictures entering back across the border. I guess you are not allowed to take picture of Federal buildings.

Well whadd'ya know... 3DCoat video in my email inbox :D

    http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?pid=1122

Sadly no sculpting or painting, but it does go over UVing and converting a veeery high resolution figure into a veeery low one :P
(The sculpting and painting was done in zBrush it seems)

Oooh and another C4D video series :D

    Now I'm 54 but I'm feeling chipper
Spent a couple of days hanging out with strippers
I've got money left for wings and beer
Gonna party down today, so never fear!
Tunes in my jukebox, friends in chat
I'll sit on my butt and get real fat
Drinking and eating till I fall on the floor
Because today I'm 54! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

Time to get dressed, make the walk t the liquor store to pick up vodka and super-fancy beer, maybe some Capt. Morgans, then hit the grocery store for diet Coke. Once home, I'll order a mountain of wings and it'll be PARTY TIME!!! :cheese: :cheese: Glad I took tomorrow off.. :red: :red:

I hope everyone is having as fantastic a day as they can!

Should be fine, I have lots of Gatorade to help with electrolytes and I'm not going out, so tomorrow shouldn't be an unholy disaster! :P

Well, KK, I guess you are what they call well traveled!

    ...PS1Borg, lovely photo.

Still have five rail trips I'd like to make (+one hinging on certain circumstances).

--The Canadian: Vancouver BC to Toronto ON (leisurely cruise across Canada on a train that still has the classic "vista dome" cars).
--The Indian Pacific From Sydney to Perth, (the second longest single rail journey in the world)
--The TGV from Marseilles to Paris (as fast as an F-1 race car; about 3 hours to cover about the same distance as Chicago to Minneapolis which takes Amtrak nearly 14 hrs on a good day).
--The Tōkaidō Shinkansen: Tokyo to Shin Osaka. (the trailblazer for high speed rail)
--The Trans Siberian: Moscow to Vladivostok. (The Granddaddy of all rail journeys, 9,300KM 6 days).

...and once technical issues with the Iconic LNER A3 Pacific 4-6-2 #4472 (best known as the legendary Flying Scotsman) are resolved and it is again running excursions between London and Edinburgh, that is one trip I have to make. I saw this remarkable locomotive when it was brought on tour to the states many years ago, those main drive wheels are huge.

Happy Birthday, Wooly! I've got a few years on ya!

One question...why the Diet Coke? With all that alcohol, it can't be calories or sugar you're worried about. :-S

Sounds like you really enjoy riding the rails, KK. I can only remember one that wasn't a kiddy ride, the No. Conway Scenic Railroad, New Hampshire. Oh, there's a short ride at Clark's Trading Post on Rte 3 in New Hampshire, but that's not much of a ride, really, just a little entertainment after the bear show.

Well I got to start to download Poserpro2014, I guess it will take a day or so to finish, no idea what's going on, everyone seems to be on the managed install bandwagon now  Doesn't seem production-ready anyhow, the LW and Maya plugins aren't up yet. Early adopter blues, I got the early adopter blues, don't really wanna accuse but, got the early adopter blues

Should have been to bed a half hour ago.

Feel like I'm on a bloody 300 baud acoustic modem.

...for a moment it looked like you said Prospero2014

...didn't know they revised The Tempest (unless JM Straczynski got his way and actually released a remake of Forbidden Planet).

...and on that note, off to bed, nite all.
