    'Nother Superdrop.
I'm sure everyone's getting sick of this by now, but this is a re-render in 4.6 with the Subsurface Shader applied to the skin and eyes. I like the back-scatter effect.

Pffft okay I found something amusing in someone's forum signature just now. Pretty short, and it seems to be either Python or Ruby (Given the forum it was in, it's likely it was Ruby script)

    self.be_self until self.awesome =P

Also I find it annoying how DeviantART lumps "Favorites" and "New Watchers" in with "Comments" when it says you have new 'Feedback' messages.
Honestly, FA separates 'em clean and simple, why can't DA do the same?
1c, 2w, 5f means you got one reply/comment, two watches, and five favorites in your inbox on FA. On DA it'd just say 8C. ><</p>

TV is actually right now the reason for my frustration. I'm getting exposed to epic levels of Stupid.

Broadcast TV is 10K kinds of stupid, cable is a bit better, but it has it's dim spots.

When I Watch TV I'm convinced rhe race is doomed to end in a litter of half-wits. :-S

Wait...that "litter of half-wits" thing hasn't already happened?
You mean it could get worse? :ahhh:

If you think of a Twitter of half-wits things look bad

A "twitter of half-wits" is a good name for a group of them. As in a "murder of crows". :)

...I wish Genesis had the control to turn eyebrows off like Gen4 had. Trying to do a pic of my KK character when she was a young girl but all the skin maps have brown or red eyebrows. Tried to create them with Garibaldi Express, but the painted on ones still show through unless I make the Garibaldi ones really heavy which doesn't work for such a fair skinned child. Not thrilled in having to edit the skin map to deal with the painted eyebrows as I now have to install a 2D app on the workstation (decided on Gimp 2.8 which I'm downloading and that just slowed to a crawl - projected time 4 hrs).

Don't really want to pack everything up and go to the hotspot as the weather is icky out today. Plus, already had brekkie and made a nice warm cup of tea.

Well that's no good, crashed after only 20 of 73 MB completed. Really not happy about having to drag myself out ton such a cloudy damp breezy day. Have PSP4 but need to first uninstall from the notebook them re-install and register it to the new system (thus having to go online with the workstation, something I don't like doing very often). Besides, Gimp is easier to use for this kind of work.

There's a thread at the older forum about how to make an eyebrow mask to hide the eyebrows, with a bit of Hexagon magic and DS's own tools.

...hexagon is a dead end for me as it is so unstable. Not up to speed with Blender yet to do this. Easier to just match the skin texture & paint over them in Gimp and save it as a "No Brow" MAT file. Garibaldi is so nice an versatile and the hairs will even create shadows which will make them look more natural.

That's another item we have to buy when this is something that should have been thought of in the first place. Or maybe it was.

I have it; while it is nice, it does seem to have an occasional problem now and then. I do not know why, but it is somehow a tricky beast to use and apply.

And frankly I'd prefer if PAs included eyebrowless version of the facial skin. :/

An eyebrow part was not supplied with Genesis, in all probability, because although some of us had agitated hard for one with V4 (which originally lacked one) when it was added in the first update hardly anyone used it. Again when Genesis was released there was demand for an eyebrow and this time some PAs met the need - and again it's rarely been used. Most people simply don't seem to care about matching the brows to the hair, or the culture.

The big issue is tone/colour matching - if the texture varies significantly in tone or colour across the forehead then the displaced section of head map that is covering the existing brows will stand out.

No, what I mean -- lots of PAs already DO supply skins with variable eyebrow shapes with accompanying bump and displacement maps. It would be nice if one of them were "no eyebrows painted on at all".

...with some of my characters that have naturally white (Like KK and Leela's friend Tracey) or incredibly light blonde hair (like Lady Grande and her daughter Margo) dark brows just do not look right.

I think Hitomi doesn't have eyebrows on the texture. She comes with eyebrow props. There may be others.

I know what you mean about Sports Talk shows. A local talk radio station has about four hours of call-in sports talk every night.
About as interesting as listening to paint dry. :)

..yeah on the afternoon drive time one we have they seem to go out of their way to talk about anything BUT sports. Almost like a radio version of the Weekly World News or Daily Mirror.

I hate dirty laundry, it usually ends up in the hamper for washday.
